Well, that was disappointing.

I was even videoing the ending moments at the pub ready to turn the camera on the cheering crowd. Think I'll delete that stuff. But, that was then, this is now. Moving on and wondering how the roster will change for next year. And what the NFL wil do, or not do, about deflated balls. Likely nothing of substance. Onward!

I'll bet the league has nothing on the Patriots and will do nothing. They should apologize.

Here's the only guy I've seen who tried to replicate the game conditions in an experiment.

I'm living off of seahawk fan tears this week, thinking about how I'd never heard of a seahawk fan until they won a superbowl last year. I'm not a pats fan by any stretch of the imagination, but as someone that roots for the Browns, I find fair weather fans particularly annoying. I get the impression that Seattle has more than their share of those folks.

Nasty Nate, At it again.
The 12th man enthusiasm and team spirit was huge very early. That spirit infected much of the Northwest and Alaska long before they won the Superbowl last year.

I don't really care much for the sport and ignore it most of the time; but there was a major shift a couple years back in the fan base.

I know political leftism is all about negativity, but it doesn't need to infect the rest of your worldvies.

When it comes to sports, I'm a pure hater. Outside of Ohio State and the occasional good Maryland basketball team from, I've enjoyed very little winning over the course of my 35 year life. The Browns haven't won anything in 60 years. The Cavs are looking up, but have never won a championship. The Indians are the most consistent team of the bunch and they are typically slightly better than average. I've even tried adopting the local Washington D.C. teams and they've done nothing but disappoint since I moved here in '98.

So yea, Browns, Cavs, Indians, Wizards, Redskins, Caps, Nationals. What a sorry bunch of professional franchises. I get my kicks from hating other teams -- Ravens, Steelers, Cowboys, Heat and any team from NY (except the Mets, who could hate that sorry bunch?).

It would seem that the Patriots didn't have to deflate the balls in the super bowl. Pete Caroll took care of that.
