Before this weekend's Seahawk victory, a topic for discussion. Sort of...

2016 - Cruz/Jindal.

If so, can we hand the leftists the plate o' crap they have been slinging at us about "You only disagree with them because they are Hispanic and Indian!" Of course, we on the right tend toward more adult expression, still, it would be a nice bit of shadenfreud, eh?

Any thoughts on who might be/should be the Republican and Democratic nominees and why? Or why not?

It's time for a change.

Paul / Walker

I will vote for the Republican candidate. I don't think a third party will do anything other than hand the election to the Chicagocrats.
I have not made up my mind as to who I want to see get the Republican nomination. I cannot imagine voting for anyone the Marxocrats would nominate.

Ben Carson and Senator Cruz would make a great ticket. (and that is why the GOP establishment won't allow it.)

COM, we see how refusing to vote for Romney has worked out, just as so many of us said. He'd not be prefect, but faaar better than Barry Bambam.

T. I like Carson, but his lack of elected experience may be telling. Sure like to see him in charge of dumping O'care before it demolished actual medical care, and leading the medical reforms we so need.

Rickvid, the very idea of voting for the least of evils, or voting for the most conservative ELECTABLE candidate greatly irritate many. However, I think that at least the two of us agree doing so is what practicality requires.

I voted for Romney, even while holding my nose.
I will never vote for Cristy and probably not Bush.
There is not much difference between voting for a demoncrat, or an establishment Publican. If we want to send this country to the crapper, why wait--get it over with keep the demons in power, so I can find my cave to hide in.
Many of the second tier GOP/Teaparty are acceptable to me. But why hold out hope. The establishment will destroy the party before they let one of those guys have an honest chance.
The choice for 2016 is Revolting, both as an adjective for the candidates and as the actual choice.

Congratulations Rickvid, the Seahawks pulled off a miracle comeback.

And that is why you keep working and never give up, because miracle comebacks for NFL teams and hopefully this country can indeed happen!
