I swear to God, Republicans are the biggest pussies to ever crawl the earth. This is all under Obama's control. They need to be blasting him from the rooftops for this national disgrace. If the government is shut down, then why are there jackboots out there arresting veterans? Why is that arm if the government open for business?

The National Parks are closed - and nasty Park Rangers are working overtime to make sure nobody gets in, even if you live there.

Welcome to Big Thug Government.

This vindictive, vicious, vile crap, straight from the evil maw of Valerie Jarret and crew, is without precedent. Obama, a petty little man whose spine is as stiff as a worm's, will never gainsay that nasty, vengful creature. Indeed, Obama's past of shitting on the military, unless he gets a good photo op or political bump for acting nice, leads me to believe that he fully supports this abuse.

The left in this country has always been anti-military. Comrade Hussein is no different than the rest.
For my part, I think the selected shutdowns will backfire. If the Disciples keep offending one small constituency at a time, they will have cumulatively offended a significant part of the electorate before this is all over. I hope that the Chicagocrats continue to march.

There is no better way to expose people for what they really are than to give them power.
The Messiah and His Disciples do not make a pretty picture.

Proof liberals hate the military.

i live in nyc. ever since occupy wall street, the nyc police force has continued to strictly enforce curfew laws at all public parks and areas.

unless these vets were naive, they were making a publicity statement by getting arrested, because arrest is sadly still the city's standard procedure for noncompliance.

unfortunate but true: you and i would get arrested too if we refused to vacate the premises past the curfew.

Thats true, and it shows to me the over reach of the NYC police.

Look, I don't want vagrant Occupy folks sleeping on war memorials either. I don't want veterans - even anti war weirdo veterans - being arrested not for living in the park, but just doing what veterans do at war memorials.

Prior to a few years ago, this park was always open and wasn't even designed to close. Now, the NYPD is going to far. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out whose visiting vs. who is trying to live there. The NYPD was just doing its job, and they did it a lot better than the Parks Service has been doing theirs of late. But the policy is still too much.

If the government is shut down, then why are people being arrested? Shouldn't there be anarchy by now?

They hate the military, but they love the military complex, and use that mentality whenever they can.

This is disgraceful. What Obama and his minion are doing to the families of our fallen heroes: DISGRACEFUL. Obama had the opportunity to bring this nation (racially) together. He has failed miserably and intentionally. The Left??? The left is all about destroying democracy and our way of life. The republicans better find their backbone and SOON! They need to sit down and come up with a cohesive plan. And soon! If we don't, we will be in deep trouble in 2014 and 2016.

Liberals complain about the "Military Industrial Complex" right until the union workers in the aircraft and ship building industry start loosing union jobs. Then all of a sudden they become raging, big spending hawks. Then they use the expensive equipment they demanded be built, fuck up the war, then blame it on Republicans.

Fearthuinn min an Saille said...

Free, yep. And they love it when their police act like they're the national civil military

free0352 said...

Unless they are arresting them for smoking pot. Then they don't like it. But only then.

Big creepy-crawly weirdos trying to blame the shutdown on Obama. What spineless wimps you all are. The icing on the cake are the dumbos Cruz and Palin protesting the government that they wanted shut down. So glad all their weirdo followers showed up with their tractors. Obama is waaay too smart for all you racist idiots.

tom said...

Bram- the nasty park rangers are just doing what the thug Koch brothers and mindless Cruz demanded. This shows how stupid Republicans are, you want that bad old government out of your way but you also want to visit monuments and national parks. Morons.

CrabbyOldMan said...

Tell me, tom, what do you think of Republicans?

Wow. A cool 53 points for that Troll, but it took him two posts. Pretty lame, really. If he's one of Obama's paid trolls, he isn't getting his money's worth.

Tom said...

Foxy Wizard- I get it, whenever you can't defend your party you bring up Trolls. But really what can you say about a Party that you no longer recognize? The Republicans have let crazy take over and we're all witnessing the results.

CrabbyOldMan said...

Tom, I seriously think that you are disturbed yourself or else just enjoy parroting what (other)(actually) disturbed people say.
I'd say Foxy Wizard is probably right.
There are a few who fit the troll description because they post inane distortions and/or outright falsehoods and expect people to take them seriously.

Tom said...

COM- "inane distortions and/or outright falsehoods and expect people to take them seriously."

I would say this describes the Republican Tea Party perfectly, wouldn't you?

Foxy Wizard said...

"I would say this describes the Republican Tea Party perfectly, wouldn't you?"

Nope. Not one bit. How do you propose we pay $17 trillion in debt and $90 trillion in unfunded liabilities? By borrowing more?

Tom said...

Foxy- I'm guessing you had no problem with Bush putting 2 wars on a credit card. Did you know that the ACA is in the budget to reduce the deficit? It's hilarious how Republicans, the party with absolutely no fiscal responsibility, has suddenly become so concerned about debt. Spare us please. I just heard some clips from Fox-Faux News about what they say about Obamacare...speaking of "outright falsehoods". You're making Limbaugh rich, so whatever you do, don't think about what is best for you and your family.

CrabbyOldMan said...

Tom, try to control yourself and answer Foxy's questions.
We can wait while you ask those voices what you are supposed to say.

Foxy Wizard said...

"Foxy- I'm guessing you had no problem with Bush putting 2 wars on a credit card."

Do I need to educate yet another Troll on who supported the War in Iraq, and who supported the war in Afghanistan? Troll Tom, google "Dem quotes on Iraq war" if you dare.

"Did you know that the ACA is in the budget to reduce the deficit?"

Troll Tom, even you can't be that stupid. Go to the CBO to see the estimated costs of Obamacare, if you dare.

"It's hilarious how Republicans, the party with absolutely no fiscal responsibility, has suddenly become so concerned about debt."

It is a FACT that Obama, in his first 5 1/2 years in office, has racked up more debt than the first 44 Presidents combined. And Bush? Most here despised his penchant for spending. ALa has archives. Go back and read what some of us said about TARP, including yours truly. If you dare.

Or, just keep up your spittle flying rants. They amuse me.

And of course you didn't answer my question. Just like Nate.

Zelda said...

The Park Rangers are government drones. If the government is shut down, they need to stop what they are doing and go home. But they are just players in Democrat shut down theater, pretending they are needed.

Tom said...

"Do I need to educate yet another Troll on who supported the War in Iraq, and who supported the war in Afghanistan?"

They were lied to by their drunken commander-in-chief.

"How do you propose we pay $17 trillion in debt and $90 trillion in unfunded liabilities? By borrowing more?"

" Most here despised his penchant for spending. ALa has archives."

If this were actually true, you never would have voted for Romney. You would never have voted for a billionaire who was dying to start more wars and run up more debt.

Zelda-"The Park Rangers are government drones. If the government is shut down, they need to stop what they are doing and go home. But they are just players in Democrat shut down theater, pretending they are needed."

Or they are simply doing their jobs. This isn't a video game, (zeldas so tough!). They were doing what the infantile Republicans demanded.

Zelda said...

What jobs? They are unnecessary on every level. No one needs them to view open air memorials, so the question is what exactly are we paying them to do?

CrabbyOldMan said...

"Trite Tom" really does fit well.

Foxy Wizard said...

"They were lied to by their drunken commander-in-chief."

Waaaa. I always love this one. The dumbest President on the planet, McChimp, 9 months into his presidency, outwits the Clintons, Obama, Reid, Albright, Breck Boy, Biden, and 200 other Democrat nit-wit gasbags, who are so outsmarted by McChimp they DEMAND that he invade Iraq.

That about right, Troll Tom?

Tom said...

Foxy-
Well, McChimp was the Commander-in-Chief. McChimp said long before any stolen election that he 'would start a war someday so he would be remembered'...what an idiot.

Foxy Wizard said...

"Well, McChimp was the Commander-in-Chief. McChimp said long before any stolen election that he 'would start a war someday so he would be remembered'...what an idiot."

Really! I'm sure you have a source for that quote, right? And you admit that he outsmarted all your heroes? Love it.

Foxy Wizard, see my 2:09 p.m. comment under "The Shutdown's Most Essential Employee..."
You may as well argue with one of those wind up music boxes as with Trite Tom.

Zelda said...

His brain is set to auto-regurg. Kind of like Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.

You: "What are the Democrats doing about the 17 trillion dollar debt?"

Him: "Bush-Chimpy-McHalliburton-Iraq-War-Sarah-Palin-Retarded-Baby!!!"

Foxy Wizard said...

At least Nate has graduated to: "Obama has signaled that entitlement reform is on the table", lol.

Zelda said...

I suppose that's an improvement. He just needs to grasp that Obama is utterly incompetent to deal with it. Most Democrats are.
