Downward Spiral.

"A bill that would allow non-physicians to perform abortions in the first trimester of pregnancy is awaiting signature by Gov. Jerry Brown of California by Sep. 30. The bill, AB 154, passed both houses of the state legislature with strong support from Planned Parenthood and pro-choice groups. Planned Parenthood stands to benefit most directly from the bill, as non-physician staff at its clinics would be able to obtain abortion licenses."

Oh my Jesus. There is a war on women.

So the commiecrats finally found an industry that they don't want to regulate out of existence?

Color me shocked.

War on women? Whaddya mean Zelda?

I think that I am in this doctors camp.
One doctor–who identified himself as pro-choice–told Breitbart News that “the bill is a disaster since it sends us back 100 years to the problems of the complications from back-steet abortions.” The bill’s critics warn that the training provided to non-physician staff is weak, that supervision by physicians in clinics will be minimal, and that there is real risk of injury or death to women who will be treated in such conditions.

The abortion industry is not about women, women's health, women's rights, or liberties. It is and has always been about killing. Sanger herself was very clear that the main point was to exterminate the negroe race and lower human classes. COM and Proof make cogent comments. Illness and death will rise, and the bar on quality will continue to be pushed down.

"More children from the fit, less from the unfit -- that is the chief aim of birth control."

"We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with
social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."

I am in awe of her.

Hillary Clinton on receiving Planned Parenthood's Margaret Sanger Award.

That's like accepting the KKK Nathan Bedford Forest Award. But do liberals get a racism pass. Yup.

Rickvid in Seattle and Free0352 dredging up arguments from 1919 and attributing them to today's pro choice advocates is beyond ridiculous. But then the anti abortion crowd never seems to be embarrassed by its propaganda.

"non-physician staff at its clinics would be able to obtain abortion licenses."

What could go wrong?

"Rickvid in Seattle and Free0352 dredging up arguments from 1919 and attributing them to today's pro choice advocates is beyond ridiculous."

Why?

Foxy Wizard:
Both the Zionists and Adolf Hitler wanted a Jewish homeland someplace other than in Europe. By Rickvid in Seattle's and Free0352's reasoning, they must have both had the same motives.
Ancient Rome and the Twin Cities (where I live) both built large stadiums. Does anyone think that it is because both want to feed people to the lions?

Foxy Wizard said...

Huh?

I don't see the comparison. Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion performing entity in the nation. Planned parenthood was founded by Margaret Sanger. Apparently, she had one motive of getting rid of minorities while selling the enterprise by claiming she was championing "women's rights". It is the same organization.

Hillary received the Margaret Sanger Award. Same person. I don't see how it is irrelevant.

Two questions: Is it irrelevant that the Republican Party has always been the champion of human rights, but, due to complicit media propaganda, is now painted as racist? And... is it irrelevant that The Muslim Brotherhood, founded on the goal of exterminating/subjugating all other religions and establishing a Caliphate, now says it is a "moderate" organization? I think those are better comparisons.

Zelda said...

I also don't see how it's irrelevant to attribute Margaret Sanger's motives to today's "pro-choice" movement. Their methods haven't changed, their public line hasn't changed, so why should we believe their private goals aren't exactly the same? More children from the fit, less from the unfit.

And naturally, they are the judge, jury and executioner. And naturally, it's a raging success. Why, we've all but eliminated welfare!

free0352 said...

I can't say it better than Foxy and Zelda.

The organization was founded on the principle of black genocide and it continues on that principle today. More children from the fit, less from the unfit. No they don't broadcast it.

If Hillary Clinton had said she "was in awe" of Hitler, there would have been a firestorm. But nope, she's in awe of a little known today genocidal maniac. So that's okay.

I can't say I don't clap loudly when some person takes one of these self proclaimed "fit" abortion doctors and sets their clinic on fire and shoots them dead. I'm not one for mob justice, but I'm not one to feel sorry when karma happens to scum bags either.

Zelda said...

At some point, we need to step back and grasp what a failure this population control experiment has been. More people are on the dole than ever, and there aren't enough young people to take care of the old. Everything "progressives" promised has failed. This is a nightmare.

Zelda said...

And their solution?

More cowbell.

I hate them. I hate their beastly, murderous, impenetrable, unearned elitism. Margaret Sanger died exactly how she deserved. Alone, and a raving, drug addled lunatic.

Rickvid in Seattle said...

To his credit, Nathan Bedford Forrest quit and denounced the Klan when it went from protecting southern whites from the excesses of the north's revenge to being purely a hate group commiting savage violence. I do not think Sanger, Piss Be Upon Her, did anything like that.

COM, from telling underage girls to lie to get an abortion after being impregnated by their overage boyfriends, to gladly accepting money on the proviso that it be used only to abort black babies, to lying that they in any way shape or form provide mammograms to deflect from what they truly are about, to placing 78% of their clinics in minority areas, Planned Parenthood is primarily about killing the unborn, especially of the "human weeds" like colored people. So the connection is their, no matter how much they, or anyone else, denies it.

Sanger was a complicated person. Sanger, like many of her time, believed in eugenics. However, she was also anti-abortion. Racial tendicies, but opened a clinic in Harlem staffed by all black doctors, nurses and clergy. MLK was also a recipiant of the Margaret Sanger award and praised her work with minorities.

CrabbyOldMan said...

Confirmation that the anti abortion zealots are not embarrassed by their own clumsy propoganda:

I had never heard of Margaret Sanger, but all these "quotations" just didn't pass the smell test, so I googled Margaret Sanger, Birth Control Review, May 1919, p. 12 and then just Margaret Sanger. I suggest everyone else do so too. There are some interesting facts.

The "quotations" are taken out of context, distorted or made up entirely.

Sanger opposed abortion and directed her organization's efforts toward BIRTH CONTROL. This remained the case until Sanger died.

Racist Supporters--
In 1930, Sanger opened a family planning clinic in
Harlem that sought to enlist support for
contraceptive use and to bring the benefits of family
planning to women who were denied access to their
city's health and social services. Staffed by a black
physician and black social worker, the clinic was
endorsed by The Amsterdam News (the powerful
local newspaper), the Abyssinian Baptist Church,
the Urban League, and the black community's elder
statesman, W.E.B. DuBois.
In 1966, the year Sanger died, the Rev. Martin
Luther King, Jr. said
There is a striking kinship between our
movement and Margaret Sanger's early efforts.
. . . Our sure beginning in the struggle for
equality by nonviolent direct action may not
have been so resolute without the tradition
established by Margaret Sanger and people like
her.

Truth meets with most people's approval. Lies and absurdities meet with most people's disapproval. I'd say that is why most hold the left in such disdain.

Free0352, aren't you forgetting to include something with the above Sanger quote?

Foxy Wizard said...

Crabby, I have read that response at least eight times, and it still makes no sense.

Zelda said...

Foxy, don't let that picture break your heart. That was from a surgery performed on the baby in utero for spina bifida. The baby lived and had far fewer complications from it. Amazing things can happen when we focus on how to live better instead of how to kill more efficiently.

Anon - Sanger was not complicated. She was a white, progressive eugenist. Like the Nazis. She was not racial. She was racist. This time it's perfectly accurate to use that word. She opened a clinic in Harlem because she wanted the "Negro" population to reproduce as little as possible. She had no love for them, only disgust. And MLK, bless his heart, was fooled by the propaganda. It's a shame.

Zelda, I urge you to google Margaret Sanger, Birth Control Review, May 1919, p. 12

The first item is www.plannedparenthood.org/.../OppositionClaimsAboutMargaretSanger....

I urge you to read it. It is not very long.

By the way, I have been looking, with no success so far, for the original documents on which the propaganda is based. If I find them, I will post the sites.

Zelda said...

For Christ's sake, Crabby. You can't cite Planned Parenthood as your source. She was their founder. Of course they are going to whitewash her.

But the woman was a racist and a eugenist. She wrote so much about it, you can't even begin to whitewash it.

Try this website.

http://carm.org/secular-movements/abortion/notes

This is only the tip of the iceberg as far as the white, progressive eugenists are concerned. Most of those quotes are from the Birth Control Review, during the time when there is absolutely no question that Sanger was the editor. And the woman made speeches to the fucking KKK. You really don't get more racist than that.

But all this being said, I don't really understand why you are trying to whitewash her. Don't you essentially agree with eugenics? At least to the point of "less children from the unfit?" Why be dishonest about Sanger if that's what you believe?

Crabby said...

For Christ's sake Zelda, how credible are those antiabortion rants that palm themselves off as "information"?
I told you I am trying to find the original documents that the propaganda claims to quote. Are you?
My point is that the "quotes" are distortions or outright fabrications aimed at gullible zealots.
If Comrade Hussein said that the Sun comes up in the East and sets in the West, would you dismiss it as impossible just because The One said so?

CrabbyOldMan said...

Zelda, I did look at http://carm.org/secular-movements/abortion/notes.

I will thank you to never again criticize any source of MINE.

First of all, let me make it clear that I doubt if I would have liked Margaret Sanger. She was a leftist who was involved with the I.W.W. and gems like Emma Goldman.

I looked into Margaret Sanger because Free0352's and Rickvid in Seattle's comments flunked the smell test.

I assume that you support the practice of birth control and oppose abortion. Guess what. So did Sanger. Planned Parenthood did not offer abortion services until after Sanger had died.

That leaves only eugenics.

Eugenics was widely supported for decades, like "diversity" for the sake of "diversity" and global warming in our time. I don't find it surprising that Sanger supported the idea. Apparently black leadership at the time didn't either since she had a lot of support from those precincts. For whatever other faults they may have had, I don't think anyone who matters believes that W.E.B. Du Bois and Martin Luther King were fools.

And the woman made speeches to the fucking KKK. You really don't get more racist than that. It all depends upon what she had to say. I don't know. Do you? Ask Foxy Wizard if missionaries speak to sinners.

Did I mention that Angela Davis used the (out of context) Sanger quotes to support the claim Sanger wanted to exterminate black people?

Zelda said...

Crabby, your source is Planned fucking Parenthood. How on earth do you consider them to be objective? They didn't even cite their sources. They just claimed without any confirmation that other people actually wrote the horrible, racist things in the newsletter and organization founded by apparently the miraculously non-racist, Margaret Sanger. And they didn't even begin to address all the quotes attributed to her because she did actually say almost all of them. And I don't care what rants people go on as long as they can can cite their sources.

We don't know exactly what Sanger said at the KKK meeting, but she received 13 more speaking invitations from other affiliated groups, so it's doubtful she was trying to convince them how wonderful blacks and Jews and Catholics were. Racism was the only thing she had in common with the Klan.

As for birth control, I don't care about it. As long as all relevant health infirmation is made available, if people want to use it, fine. I'm not stopping them.

What I am adamantly against is eugenics and using birth control for that purpose. I'm against coercing anyone into using it just because someone thinks they're of "inferior stock." Weirdly, it's always white progressives seeking that power.

CrabbyOldMan said...

Zelda, then read what Wiki has to say.

Sanger sure fooled DuBois and King.

Since she, too, opposed abortion, and you do not oppose the birth control Sanger advocated, what is your problem?

Foxy Wizard said...

This thread has sure gotten weird.

Zelda said...

Read very carefully. Sanger was a eugenist. I abhor eugenics with every fiber of my being. Advocating birth control - synthetic hormones - for the so-called purification of the race is disgusting to me in every conceivable way. The whole concept was debunked after WWII. It's unscientific and immoral. The fact that Planned Parenthood now does actual baby killing along with pushing birth control is monstrous and flies in the face of all reason and good.

This thread has sure gotten weird.

The abortion ones always do. But Sanger is weird and she sends PP supporters to weird mental places because suddenly, they have to confront actual racism.
