...the conservative that liberals hate to love...
free is hot! ;)
Nothing calms the nerves like a little shooting.
Well you've never hesitated to put my fat ass on the internet before...What? I'm retired now you know ;)Anyway, hope AB learned something and most importantly HAD FUN.
Looks like you guys had fun. :)
Your sister resembles you with dark hair, same face.
Looks like AB needed some sunscreen. Nice shooting tho, Tex.And Free, go easy on yourself. I think it's mandatory for old Jarheads to develop a bit of a beer keg above the belt buckle... :) Nice arsenal. Semper Fi, dude.
Hot girl, tricked out gun, only brings one thing to mind. Good grouping.
-It was a lot of fun...-Free0352 is the man no doubt! Blog twins get along in real life pretty well...and yes he is just as insane in person!!!!!Thanks for being a great instructor! I want to buy a GLOCK NOW! :)-AB
Happy b'day, ALa.
Wenz the spanking?
What is the sighting system on that shootin' arn?
Eotech holo sight with DD irons
Looking for a system for my DPMS AR15. Figured I needed to get good woth iron sights then I 'd move up. Thx
I'd say right now Troy Industries is going the best low-profile sights. Not many companies are making the A2 style sight block which I'm partial to. Not of any quality anyway. I run a CSAT upgrade on my rear sight from XS sights, and my front is a milspec front sight assembly. Only thing different is I have a tritium stripe on the front sight post for low light shooting. But to be honest I think a bright red front sight post would be just as good.
The gun is an LWRC limited run based on their M6 series but with a much more robust operating rod. The A2 block rear sight assembly is also a limited run from Daniel Defense, not many companies make quality A2 style rear blocks these days. Mine is upgraded from a standard rear sight aperture to a CSAT aperture from XS Sights. If I was buying off the shelf, I'd go with Troy Industries - anything they make is good and is as similar to the old A2 sights as possible. My front sight assembly is A2 Milspec except the front sightpost has a tritium stripe for low light shooting. As for the rest of the gun, I run old school steel rails and a floated barrel, a VELTOR stock, an LWRC nickle boron coated bolt carrier, a magpul multi mission sling, and a Nova Tac scout light with a Daniel Defense light mount.
Nice - I never bought an AR because I was never going to willing subject myself to the stupid-ass direct impingement system again. Looks like Free figured it out.
It feels like I'm reading English. . . :-)
nice gunand you ain't looking too bad either AB and freeredleg
