Here is an interesting topic:

Voter Fraud!
An interesting mind puzzle: What would the left do if these facts were leading to GOP victories.
(short answer--there would be rioting in the streets and flame wars on the net.)

Tom said...

Haverwilde and Steve:

This blog link is your idea of "facts"?

I have come to the conclusion that you are all insane.

Do you realize that Bush stole the election from Gore? Katherine Harris and Jeb, along with the help of our Supreme Court handed the election to W. Again, the HF corn syrup and trans fats have really done a number on your brains.

The only recent voter fraud was coming from the RIGHT. They do not want minorities to vote because when they do THEY LOSE BIGTIME. Democrats are not the party that restricts voting times at the polls. WE WANT everyone to vote, your party doesn't because when everyone votes THEY LOSE.

Obama beat Mitt by a LANDSLIDE, get over it. He didn't have the Supreme Court handing him the election, he won, fairly, something Republics cannot do.

CrabbyOldMan said...

The Twit responds to Havirwilde and Steve with fantasies.

Tom said...

Not fantasies, reality. Your party cannot win fairly. The last election Karl Rove could not believe that Obama had won again. Now why would that be? Because his little plan didn't go through to steal yet another election.

No he didn't. And don't you realize that Bush beat Kerry by a landslide as well?

Haverwilde said...

Interesting the Columbus Ohio newspaper reporting on Ohio politics and voter statistics, and State political activities is some how bogus, but the inane, insane, unsubstantiated claims of a deranged asshow is some how more factual.
You got to love the left, their LaLa Land must be something.

Sorry none of the rest wanted to discuss it, who cares.

The country is so far gone it will take a miracle to bring it back to even a shadow of its former greatness.

Damn, you just can’t make this shit up, it so ridiculous, Obama, the head of the most corrupt administration in American history called on graduates of the Naval Academy to “live with integrity” and help restore trust in a military.
A classic ‘Do as I say, not as I do’ kind of shtick!

Please give an example of a Republican doing anything to make this country great...crickets chirping...don't bother, there are no examples. Giving huge tax breaks to billionaires doesn't count.

Don't try dragging out Ronnie again, one of the worst presidents in history doesn't deserve the credit you morons try to give him.

Red Neck-

I'm sure the drugster and the crybaby Beck have accused Obama of rape but it isn't true. You also might want to turn off Fox "news".

1% is a landslide? Seems to me that's more akin to a light rain with minor top soil loss.

That said, I do find it interesting in having seen a link on a friend's FB page about a woman being convicted of voter fraud, having voted 6 times in a state where voter ID laws don't exist. While I don't think this is some flooded river demolishing homes on the shore, there is a definite leak, though probably more of a trickle.

BTW, have a good vacation Rik!

CrabbyOldman said...

Fearth min an Saille, why do you think the Messiah and His Disciples fight voter ID laws so fiercely?
I say that it is because voter fraud is an important Marxocrat constituency. Why else would anyone oppose such a very reasonable idea?

" Giving huge tax breaks to billionaires doesn't count."

Yawn. The lefties have gotten so stupid what's there even left to say to the morons. Their man in the White House gets outed as being more and more incompetent and corrupt by the day, and their answer is to demonize a president who actually took a failing country and made it productive again. It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetically sad.

Fearthuinn min an Saille said...

Ok, I have no idea why my comment yesterday didn't show up.

Anyway COM, you can call me FC or freak, google refuses to change my nick unless I change my blogger.

Anyway, I'm well aware of why the Dems hate voter ID laws, and I don't deny that voter fraud happens (Ohio and FL anyone?). I do think it's more prevalent in some places, so it might seem that it's extremely widespread, but it's not. About the only place it can seriously do any damage is in states where it's close (Ohio).

That said, the WI voter ID law was upheld in court. So one more state on the rolls.

I'm confused, who are you talking about? You can't be talking about Bush and Dick because they took over a thriving economy and destroyed it.

You must be talking about Obama, he is doing an amazing job considering the mess the 2 criminals left behind.

"Conservatives are generally concerned about voter fraud, while liberals, almost universally, are not."

Mwahahahahaha! Are YOU SERIOUS?

This is so sad that the party of voter suppression and oppression would say something so RIDICULOUS.

Crabs- this is your idea of proof? Where the hell do you people live? In a cave? Do you realize that your party is trying to change the law so that it will be impossible for minorities and the poor to vote? Virginia ring any bells in your empty head? Voter ID laws? You are possibly the dumbest people ever.

Fearthuinn min an Saille said...

COM, if there is enough serious evidence that can garner prosecution (such as the OH case) then they need to go after it. I haven't said it doesn't exist, and I don't deny that it does.

Also, the Penn issue is mostly voter intimidation (which Holder decided to dump, after winning the case). The resulting goal is the same, but the means to the end are different. And the stuffing the ballot box is an assumption by one side, if you can prove that they were attempting to do so, then do it.

PS: I love voter ID laws, and have yet to vote somewhere were I didn't have to show my ID to cast a vote. I agree with them.

CrabbyOldMan said...

Fearthuinn min an Saille: The legal definition of voter fraud in Minnesota is claiming that you are someone else and then voting in that person's (living or dead) place. It is NOT voter fraud to pretend that you are eligible to vote when you actually are not (like students from Wisconsin and convicted felons). I'm not sure what that is called. However, I think that you will agree the result is the same.
The narrow definition helps the Marxocrats claim that voter fraud is unimportant.
One of the references I gave you explains how loose the three major Minnesota Democrat counties are about valid identification.
The vehement Marxocrat opposition to voter I.D. buttresses the argument.

Twitty Tom: Thank you for your input. I’m sure everyone else is also interested in the views of a college sophomore.

Tom said...

Fearthuinn min an Saille said...

COM, so they have proof that students from Wisconsin were voting in the Minn elections and not the Wisconsin elections? I know my University had precincts set-up with ballots from every state, so that students who hadn't requested absentee ballots could vote. Those were reported to the correct precinct in the State where the student was registered. Your article says nothing about how the students were voting illegally in Minn elections. There is a lot of supposition in the articles that you've posted, but that's the one downside of posting evidence put forth by a blog, that doesn't backtrack to anything else.

CrabbyOldMan said...

Fearthuinn min an Saille, if there is little, if any, effort to catch the perpetrators in the first place, then there will be very few convictions and so the Marxocrats can claim that the rate is "low". This is particularly true if the fraud rate is defined to exclude ineligible voters.
re: how the students were voting illegally in Minn elections
How about getting on a bus in Madison and getting off in North Minneapolis, and then having someone vouch for you at the polls?
Did you read all the articles?

Twitty Tom, how do you define “educated” and “uneducated”?

Red Neck Reactionary said...

That's just Tom and his sophomoric comments: The democrats are the center of the universe and he lives on a flat earth. That is the apex of his intellectual functioning. I wonder if he still takes the short bus to school.

CrabbyOldMan said...

Twitty, if requiring a government provided picture ID to vote keeps ten percent of the Illinois electorate from voting, then there are more corpses and convicts and dysfunctional people voting (or, rather, stooges voting in their place) than I had imagined.
If you are young, try buying cigarettes or alcohol without a picture ID. If you are old, try applying for Social Security. For that matter, try collecting welfare or cashing a check. Christ, I have to show an ID to get into the YMCA!
Your argument and the "source" are both absurd.
By the way, I'm STILL waiting for your definition of “educated” and “uneducated”?

tom said...

See, BS, I told you it was only a matter of time before "Tom" was given a name, that is why I posted anon.

"how do you define “educated” and “uneducated”?"

"The democrats are the center of the universe and he lives on a flat earth. That is the apex of his intellectual functioning. I wonder if he still takes the short bus to school."

I don't know, does this person seem educated to you?

BTW, sometimes you don't reply until the next day...

Of course you would all be on board with anything that targets the poor and minorities because they always vote for Democrats, they're not stupid after all, they know your party despises them.

Why was my source absurd?

Is it free to get an ID?

Fearthuinn min an Saille said...

COM, yes, I did read them (except the one that was a video, and I wasn't about to play musical web pages to watch it). There were scant links to actual reports (like what percentage of voters per precinct were returned). And given my experience with voting on an out-of-state campus, to me, I'm curious if there was actual voter fraud perpetrated. I'm familiar with the area of Wisconsin along the Minnesota border, lots of small towns with not a whole lot in the way of something that can actually be called a town. Us city folk tend to refer to those areas a bumblefucknowhere. Would it actually surprise me if they combined areas based on closest residence? No. But I admit, I don't know what their voting regulations are for that part of the country, so I'm not going to jump on one side or the other till I do. And you have yet to really help me in that manner, with the links you claim are evidence.

Hoss said...

Yes, it's free to get an ID.

Hoss said...

"...change the law so that it will be impossible for minorities and the poor to vote?"

Putting one of the dumbest statements ever written on the internet should never be a precursor to calling someone else a dumbass. Unless somehow having them take two minutes to get something that they can't cash a check without is setting the bar for the "impossible." And like Holder would ever follow-up on any actual charges (see:New Black Panthers).

tom said...

Nothing is free Hoss, this law will cost millions to implement.

My 90-year old mother has cashed checks and voted her entire life without an ID. Of course if she were black and lived in your state she wouldn't have been able to do this.

What's wrong with the Black Panthers? They are a dream compared to the Bush-Cheney crime families.

Fearthuinn min an Saille said...

We have voter laws, which require a place of residence and an ID (which you can get for free if said residence is a city or private shelter). The State IDs are $5 to get otherwise and are good for 5-10 years.

We had that fight, about the whole disenfranchisement, and the argument didn't hold any water. Our law passed court muster.

Cynthia Tucker is just another of the leftist propaganda generating members of the left wing media. To suggest that someone read her to learn about the republicans, is like asking someone to read the KKK propaganda to learn about race. She actively supports Obama's corrupt administration; the most corrupt administration in American history. (Far more corrupt than anything Bush or Chaney could ever be. Why? Because every flaw, misstep and mistake they made, and they made many, was publicized by that same left wing media. Too bad, they don't publicize Obama's flaws with equal vigor—but then we would have elected Republican in the last election.)

The GOP is a tired, worthless party supporting the anti-liberty statist actions of the ruling class in America. Frankly a plague on both parties.

We need a change, and have needed one for over a decade.

tom said...

There is no such thing as left-wing media, they are all owned and controlled by right-wing corporations. The right completely controls the airwaves and soon the Koch brothers will control whatever newspapers are left.

If it were left-wing, they wouldn't have given the most corrupt administration in history a free ride for 8 years, including the NYTimes.

tom said...

Exactly. CTs article points out that hostility over same-sex marriage, saner gun laws, taxing the wealthy and calling climate change a hoax are just a few things that are crippling your party.

Even Dole and Jeb are fed up with repubs. The only thing you all agree on is that you hate Obama. That isn't going to win the next election unless you have Karl Rove's help (again).

Haverwilde said...

2004 – Kerry
2000 – Gore
1996 – Clinton
1992 – Clinton
1988 – Dukakis

Oh and all the Rich Corporate Types that only support republicans

tom - Both parties need a reboot. All of your complaints could just as easily apply to Democrats, but most Lefties are laughably hypocritical.

The funniest of your accusations is that corporations are somehow automatically right wing. This is, I think, the most obvious of left wing hypocrisies. The biggest corporations get big and stay big because of government cronyism. That's unacceptable to a free market libertarian/conservative. Unfortunately, it's business as usual to Democrats and Republicans. Yet as much as you Lefties rail against the unfairness of it, you are completely blind to Democrat complicity. They love big government and the big money that comes along with it even as they lie.

----- -----

Saner gun laws- hmm. You take guns away from law-abiding citizenry, all you will have left is criminals with guns- people who by their very nature don't give a damn about what the laws are.

Right now, Illinois is the only state in the union which does not allow for Concealed Carry. Every other state (including the most recent, Wisconsin) have found their gun-crime rate to have dropped after CC has been put into place.

What's the gun-crime rate in Chicago again? (One of the cities that have completely outlawed handguns- and the crime rate has exploded, even with them being 'illegal'.)

Which is saner- allowing the law-abiding populace to carry (after going through a registration and classes about gun safety and responsibility), or more restrictive laws?

Neither would have prevented Sandy Hook. (I bring that up because the parents are being paraded around like circus freaks.)

We all know what happened to smokers and airplanes. "You can't smoke on flights less than 2½ hours" turned into a complete ban on smoking on airplanes, in public places, within 15 feet of any entrance- it's a snowball that expands.

Taxing the wealthy: You tax everyone making 250k+ per year at 100%, and it still won't cover the federal government outlays for half a year. We don't have a taxing problem- we have a spending problem. What is so difficult to understand about that, Tom?

Climate Change- Time magazine in the 1970's touted "The Next Ice Age". Thirty years later, it's "Global Warming". Five years after that, it's "Climate Change".

Let's conveniently ignore the fact that we've had ice ages before. Let's conveniently ignore that the data has been 'massaged' by the scientists- it completely re-writes the heat wave of the 1930s. Let's conveniently ignore the ClimateGate emails. Let's conveniently ignore that there has been no global temperature increases in the last 10 years. Let's conveniently ignore that the '2500 scientists' were more like 75 scientists (http://opinion.financialpost.com/2011/01/03/lawrence-solomon-97-cooked-stats/#ixzz1A5px63Ax).

Let's all listen to Al Gore, a politician who has made hundreds of millions touting the Climate Change meme- who lives in a 10k sq.ft. house, who jets around from coast to coast on his own private jet, who takes limos to get to these conventions a block and a half away. Hypocrite, more like it.

You can wipe your ass with one square of toilet paper if it makes you feel better- I'd prefer to be cleaner than that.

Yes- our SUVs are melting ice caps! (On Mars.) Please let me know how such a thing is possible- are we exporting greenhouse gases to another planet in our solar system?

It isn't Republicans who have a disconnect from reality, 'Tom'.

this is John Rambo, Anti-Feminist Soldier. I am posting this on behalf of Peter-Andrew: Nolan© also now known as Joschua-Brandon: Boehm©. I am doing this because, as a young men who knows Peter well, I know he has our best interests at heart.

It is well known that five years ago, April 2008, I spent a month suicidal as I went through the process of disowning my former children. When I came out of that rather unpleasant experience I contacted other men who had been similarly affected. I realized that many men were killing themselves because of the criminal abuse of the family law courts all across the western English speaking world.

As a direct result of this experience, and my compassion for my fellow men, I made a vow in June 2008 to re-introduce the rule of law into Australia and Ireland. Naturally, at the time I made the vow I had no idea how that might be done. We call it “throw your hat over the wall”. You make the vow and “figure it out later”.

Along the way I have talked to many tens of thousands of men, perhaps as many as 100,000 men have seen at least one comment by me one way or another. What I heard from men in 2008 was that they were DESPERATE for a remedy for the crimes being committed against them in the family courts. They were DESPERATE to find a way to end the criminal effects of feminism on their lives. Because so many men told me the same thing I mistook this to mean they actually WANTED to solve the problems of the family courts and feminism. As I said. My mistake.

Through very extensive research and labour, and collaborating with the best and brightest, the remedy for both the family courts and feminism was proven on 2009-11-26. A mere 18 months after I was suicidal. The court meeting that I did on 2009-11-26 I regard as one of the finest achievements of my life. Regardless? The very men I risked my life to create a remedy for have ignored that remedy, preferring to whine, bitch, moan and complain because that is far more rewarding to them than actually solving their problems. If they solved their problems they would have nothing to whine, bitch, moan and complain about.

The remedy has now been available 2.5 times as long as it took to develop and has proved uniquely unpopular. I am hated for even talking about it. The blood of every man who kills himself due to criminal abuse in the family courts is on the hands of those perhaps 100,000+ men who have heard from me and done nothing. I did all I could. They did not. It is actually very simple.

The mechanism for men to free themselves now is the Mens Business Association. The MBA provides individual based services to get men out of the control grid. Such services may well save the mans life from suicide. Going forward? It is necessary to create second economy outside the control of any government entity. Why criminals in governments can dominate and control men via the economy they will continue to do so. There is no reason for them to stop. The MBA is the proposal of a second economy outside the control of the government. This is a NECESSARY ingredient for men to live in freedom.

Only a small percentage of men will want to live in freedom. Those men who want to live in freedom? You are invited to watch a short update on how we are going in our efforts to get the second economy going. Naturally? The second economy will grow just as quickly or slowly as men join in and contribute to it. Those who want to “stick with the government run economies”? You are welcome to do so. I wish you luck with that because you are going to need it.

best regards

your brother peter
