Leftist Asshats Wrong - Again

Leftist dipwads, but then I repeat myself. They must be soooo disappointed.

Frustrated troubled youths from oppressed region brutally gunned down.

Will that be the gist of the left's spin? Or will some one of them show extraordinary courage, for them, and use the forbidden words Islamist or Muslim right alongside the words terrorists and murderers?

They so very fervently hoped that the perps would be white, Anglo-Saxon, right wing, anti-tax, Tea Partying, Second Amendment supporting inbreds. Sooooo very fervently.

In print, on air, and brazenly, they WANTED the killers to be ANYTHING but Islamist or middle eastern. Well, they got one bit of their vile hopes – the brothers are not Middle Eastern. Now, as of this writing, one is on the loose and people are told to cower in their homes, by law largely unarmed and vulnerable. Waiting behind their doors with guns ready? Nope, the people of Boston and most of the New England area, by law, must wait, disarmed like the subjects they are, until saved or killed.

This is a dark week for America, but a stain of shame for the American left. They spewed lies and depraved, base calumnies. They hoped, for the most evil reasons, that the end of the story would be a triumph for their hateful agenda, that they could yet again dance and exult on the graves of the dead to trumpet their vicious world view.

Well, we shall see what the end game is, but it is not playing out like the left so zealously and cravenly expected. A bitter pill for the bitterest, most acidic segment of American society.

Hometown Horror

Why Dr. Kermit Gosnell's Trial Should Be a Front-Page Story (The photos in this story have disrupted my sleep for days...)

"The dead babies. The exploited women. The racism. The numerous governmental failures. It is thoroughly newsworthy."

This begs the question...are there those that would defend this man or this practice even among the staunchest of pro-choice activists?

And if not, what would they say be done with the babies breathing and writhing and BORN ALIVE after a failed abortion attempt?

Even one of FNC's resident libs is horrified and in a column recently stated: "Planned Parenthood recently claimed that the possibility of infants surviving late-term abortions was "highly unusual." The Gosnell case suggests otherwise."

From the grand jury report:

"This case is about a doctor who killed babies and endangered women. What we mean is that he regularly and illegally delivered live, viable babies in the third trimester of pregnancy - and then murdered these newborns by severing their spinal cords with scissors. The medical practice by which he carried out this business was a filthy fraud in which he overdosed his patients with dangerous drugs, spread venereal disease among them with infected instruments, perforated their wombs and bowels - and, on at least two occasions, caused their deaths."

Zelda said it best..."Weep for our souls."

On a lighter, beery funny, note...

Seattle lost big time to Houston, 2 of 3, a couple of real butt whoopin's. But, not to say there wasn't a big bunch of fun anyhow last night.

In Memorium: Navy Petty Officer Pasquale Troisi

My blog dashboard says I've written over 7,000 posts. I have no idea if that number is accurate, but I do know that in the nine years I've been doing this there have been certain stories that have just stayed with me. Marine Cpl. Brian Mathews's story is one that readily comes to mind.

A story I read yesterday gave me that same, sinking feeling. Maybe it's the stories heaped in horrible irony?

"Pasquale was an active duty U.S. Navy Petty Officer who had just returned home from a seven month deployment to Afghanistan, completing his 4th tour to the Middle East.

Pasquale joined the Navy at the age of 19 after graduating from Archbishop Wood High School in 2001 with hopes of becoming a Navy Seal. He worked his way up by serving in combat tours in Iraq. Before entering Navy Seal training, Pasquale suffered several injuries forcing him to withdraw from training. He quickly volunteered for his 4th and final tour to Afghanistan in July of 2012.

...It was supposed to be a homecoming party of sorts, but it turned into tragedy. Pasquale Troisi, a Navy Petty Officer who was badly burned at his homecoming party in February, passed away on Monday.

Celebrating his return from Afghanistan, Petty Officer 2nd Class Pasquale Troisi suffered serious burns after a freestanding fireplace exploded at a home on Broadway in Upper Moreland. Investigators said the explosion was caused by someone who poured gasoline on the logs to try and get wet logs to burn.

Troisi, 31, was in a medically induced coma at Temple University Hospital for three weeks after the Feb. 22 incident. His friend, 26-year-old Stephen Klink, jumped on top of Troisi to try and extinguish the flames. Klink was treated at the hospital and released shortly after." (source)

4 deployments and you get killed by a drunk friend and a BBQ?! Or an illegal alien driving with 4X over the legal alcohol limit?

I just didn't want this 31 year old Petty Officer's story to go untold...
