Guest from the Left: J. Marquis

Another Elephant Uprising

I have to admit, it's pretty fun watching the northeastern Republicans throwing a fit about not getting their Hurricane Sandy money...

Sorry, East Coast Republicans, but this is your party too

Are the Repubs mad at each other? I thought they were mad at all the pork the Dems shamelessly tucked into this bill. Then again, I guess Rahm Emmanuel did say let no tragedy go unexploited...

CSPAN showed gop after gop going to the Well criticizing their "leader" in no uncertain terms. Yes, gops are mad at each other.

Did you see where the gop who voted tens of million in Katrina aide for his gop State voted against aide for the Democratic North East. You didn't?

Well here it is:

Christie is making a big deal about being independent in a blue state during an election year. (Yes we elect our Gov in odd years)

I live in NJ and don't understand what all this money is supposedly for.

Why not learn from the masters? That's the Chicago way. Good for whoever it was!

The Republicans should throw a fit. They have been forced to pay for FEMA and they deserve a return on their forced investment. The Democrats insisted that FEMA is vitally necessary for disaster relief, and all they do by not paying is confirm Republican/conservative arguments that the federal government is unfit for the job.

Z, as usual, is spot on. Ribbet and the Dems steal our money, then bitch us out like the wimpering simps they are for demanding some of it back when needed.

Since the bill in question is a pork bill not a hurricane relief bill, rbb, your comment about voting for a Katrina bill has no significance. You need to get a clue (along with all of your thieving buddies).

Let me see. There is $$ going to Alaska for the Hurricane Sandy Bill? WTF does that have to do with recovery in NJ and NY.
the Bill is $80 billion when it is estimated that the destruction was at $20 billion.

Am I missing something here? Where is the rest of this monstrosity of a bill going to?

Hey Jim, if you're gonna stick a link to some goofy left-wing rag like Salon, could you at least stick in a warning? Save us all the waste of time.

I try to take you lefties seriously from time to time, but alas, it impossible.

The internecine stuff is the best, Jim. Doesn't matter which party, it always amuses me.
