Union Thug Life

"President Barack Obama says right-to-work legislation in Michigan is more about politics than economics. He is criticizing a measure that would prevent requiring non-union employees to financially support unions at their workplace.

Obama received loud applause at a Michigan engine plant when he said we shouldn’t be “taking away your rights to bargain for better wages and working conditions.”

The president says that the right-to-work bills are more about “giving you the right to work for less money.” (source)

I have to say that I really take exception to the President having the gall to comment so forcefully on something he knows nothing about. The President has never even had an actual, competitive, for-profit job until he became the President...let alone have any idea of what the difference between a union or non-union labor/mechanical shop is.

He has never been a young, entrepreneurial business owner trying to establish and put food on the table for his burgeoning family only to have union thugs key his truck and slash his tires or block job entrances. He's never had to drive through lines of goateed and beer bellied men spitting on him. Never had to be escorted onto a job site by Blackwater security guards. Never had to fear for his safety for doing an honest day's labor. Never had plumbers and electricians passing around pictures of Sasha and Malia while making disgusting and repulsive remarks.

We've lived it. Until he's experienced that, I don't want him to utter a word about someone's right to work. EVERY ONE has the right to work and the right to refuse to join a group that would engage in this thuggery and give your hard earned dollars to political candidates you abhor. It's everyone's right to choose their employer and the groups and organizations they align themselves with and give their money too.

Come to Philly, Mr. President, and go under cover with The Man to a few jobs in Center City and get a REAL look at the organizations you're defending...

I love watching the union racket collapse. Unions could still add value to the lives of workers. But most don't. The dues, extracted against the will of members, gets funneled to the DNC who return return the favor with government work, favorable laws, and legal protection against the prosecution any other corporation would face if they operated this way.

I worked for an IBEW company in a free state. The union stupidly called a strike that made the workers look bad and eventually failed. Everyone just stopped paying their dues. The union boss tears were fun to see.

Guilds and unions, while doing some good, have, on the whole, been about control and exclusion. They have done well keeping out Jews and niggers, chinks and gooks, spics and micks. They are a huge repository of money slackly accounted for, thus perfect targets for Mob influence and control. Think “Teamsters” and what comes to mind? Public spirited and beneficent fellows banding together to protect workers and do good to the community, or the thugs ALa describes?
The current legislation is so wrapped in lies by Obama and the union left, you cannot see a glimmer of truth. NOBODY is taking ANY right to collective bargaining away. OBAMA LIES. This legislation allows people to work without paying into the union. Now, there is a good argument that doing this is unfair. Why should someone benefit from the union's efforts? Okay, that is reasonable. But, unions can negotiate a “members only” agreement. So, if Sam and Sally work in a union shop, Sam the union member can be covered by the union's agreement, while Sally the non-union member is not. She has to negotiate her own deal. GUESS WHAT? She could very well get a far better deal!
I am a professional training developer. I work contracted to companies like that little airplane builder or for the software maker BillCo. In the 90's some contractors to BillCo's company wanted the same benies as employees. Well, we have the same benies as required by BillCo. What we do not get are stock options. We are not employees, we get paid more, work fewer hours, and that is the deal. These contractors just wanted the stock and tried to unionize so they could threaten BillCo with strikes and job actions.
They got nowhere, even here in deep lefty Seattle and environs. I do not want some union classifying me as an ISD 4, whose income and benefits “shall be” from X to Y. Screw that crap! I prefer to work my own deal; I have skills and abilities that make me unique.
Finally, I watched that group of criminals attack the Americans for Prosperity tent and collapse it onto people underneath it, an attack Steve Crowder for daring to ask them to explain their side. I pray the authorities go after the thugs, tho I doubt they will – they are union, too, after all. But my thought watching that was, “And these bastards in the media, and the left, and the fools and buffoons on this very blog call the Tea Party a violent group of dangerous haters.” They, too, lie.

The funny part to me - the younger union thugs in that crowd probably don't even know what they are protesting. They won't lose their union representation or their union membership. The only thing that changes is that they can choose not to pay those dues.

The old thugs like the guy throwing punches knows what is happening and hates it. He probably pulls down a 6-figure salary for "representing" actual workers. If they have a choice, he will have to convince them he is adding value to their lives. Good luck with that.

Once again, not an intelligent thought going on over here. The anti-union posts and references to "The Man" make me yawn.

Anonymouse confirms his being a twit, yet again, as well as shows the actual concern the left have for the worker - none....

Now, the bill is passed. Nobody is FORCED to join the union. How long until these "die hard" loyal brothers and sisters take a walk and stop paying dues?

No one cares what you think, Anonymous. Unions are criminal organizations. They extort money from everyone - businesses, workers, they don't care. Just show them (and the Democrats) the money.

Apparently someone put a torn roll into Enemas.

Who would have ever thought that MICHIGAN would follow Indiana and Wisconsin?
All the wailing and gloating aside, I'd say that the unions will continue to decline at an accelerating pace.
Union excesses have resulted in their shitting in their own bed. I think that they are far too corrupt to reform and save themselves.

My mom was in the Americans for Prosperity tent. She is the old lady Steven Crowder was talking about right before some thug punched him. Wish I was there, you'd be seeing my face on the news because I'd have killed those SOBs. Anyway, we won here in MichiganN and I played a (small) role in making that happen. I guess that's vengence enough.

Proud of my state for passing RTW, never thought it would happen. Disappointed in that the thug that punched Crowder is from IBEW local 876 in my hometown of Grand Rapids MI.
My father was a highway construction superintendent and there was a reason they never bid a job east of Jackson MI due to union intimidation, vandalizing equipment and other fine union tactics.

Rickvid in Seattle said...

Okay, free, I totally empathize. I'd be clearing leather, too. BUT, better that we let the law take its course. And, if the thugs are put back into general circulation, well, I know nnnnnothingk!
Wanna borrow my AR? Just needs optics. Any sugestions/preferences?

free0352 said...

I have my own AR, and I'm partial to EOTECHs. I done care for magnification on an AR. :)

free0352 said...

Oh, and if I keep battling unions I may need it what with the thuggery being I live East of Jackson Michigan :)

Fighting the good fight Free.

Hopefully Freemom got out of there unhurt?

It's quite a development to see Michigan pass RTW. I always thought that the unions were so entrenched there that was near an impossibility.

Of course we don't see Jim or the rest of the Lib shitbirds in here making any sort of comment do we?

Good lord. Free, I hope your mom's ok. Glad you guys did your part.

Steven Crowder Doesn’t Deny Pushing To The Ground The Man Who Later Punched Him

Unfortunately for Mr. Crowder, a look at the video broadcast on the Sean Hannity show appears to show quite clearly that he left out an important section of the footage when he put together his edit. A section of the Fox News broadcast preserved by the Web site Mediaite shows that Mr. Hannity’s producers at Fox News started the clip five seconds earlier than Mr. Crowder did. What the extra footage reveals is the man who punched Mr. Crowder being knocked to the ground seconds before and then getting up and taking a swing at the comedian.

Nutters. They crack me up.

Enemas:
Could it have been the thug got pushed because he was a threat to Freemom and the others inside the tent?

Hoss said...

RBB weighs in with another leftist opinion piece. Solid stuff there. Wouldn't matter that thugs were tearing up private property. Unions, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

free0352 said...

Yeah genius, he was pushing those thugs away from people like my 66 year old mother whom they wanted to attack.

Thanks Steven.

Hoss is confused by actual facts.

Enemas and actual facts?

Jpck20 said...

Lol look who showed up. The Lib Tranny who gives 5 dollar blow jobs. Is there a union for that btw? Better pay your dues dipshit.

Roboto said...

$5? He's probably willing to pay more than that.

Freemom said...

Freemom is just fine and she won't miss the next demonstration either. I ain't fraid of nuthin...I DID say to one "gentleman" who called me a "bitch whore cunt scab" and spit at me..."Now do you feel like a big man?" I am really stupid that way sometimes - but he actually backed off. I was not afraid..not on the grounds and not in the tent...but when I got back to my car and reflected...well...I felt lucky to be back in my car. That was 12,700 people! However, I was at the 9/12/09 March in D.C. with well over a million people...what a contrast in events.
