THOUGHT BUBBLE FOR THE DICKHEADS: But, but, but it's those eevil business people and their eevil and stupid puppet Bush that caused all our problems. The Messiah just needs more time to fix things.

It has been the Democrats' economy since January 2007 when they took over Congress (with 4.9% unemployment).

Well, now that "Our Lord and Savior Barak Obama" is in charge, just wait! Everything will be wonderful! Just ask Jaimie Foxx.

OFF TOPIC OFF TOPIC OFF TOPIC
The leftard-redistributionist crowd seems to despise Walmart because that company has repeatedly beaten away union attacks. To satisfy my curiosity, I looked up the 2012 Walmart annual report here:
http://www.walmartstores.com/sites/annual-report/2012/WalMart_AR.pdf
The 2012 annual report reveals that Walmart had an EEVIL $444 billion in sales and made an OBSCENE $16 billion profit. That means that for every dollar I spent at Walmart, the owners STOLE 3.6 cents from me. Instead of being so GREEDY, and opting instead to give ALL the profits to the two million employees, each worker would get an additional $8,000.
Who thinks the eight grand would raise anyone out of poverty?
Who thinks that very many of the two million employees would find a better job that paid “fairer union wages” if the owners just said the hell with it and liquidated?
Nate? J. Marquis? Enemas?

We all know that anything Obama does that has a net positive effect on the economy will be purely by accident. But, the lefties will say "see, Obama's plan took 9 years to finally start working." Yeah, right.

During the last Depression, FDR's toadies were always promising that recovery was right around the corner. It never happened (until the New Deal was undone during WWII)- even after the rest of the free world was in full recovery mode.

COM, you can bet that much of the 3.6% stolen from the Workers by the evil Bosses ended up in retirement pensions owned by Evil Elderly people. THAT AIN'T RIGHT! Throw the elderly under the bus! Out into the streets, Old People! That'll show the evil Old People! UNIONS AGAINST RETIRED PEOPLE! UNITE!

Thats funny on both accounts because Bush and Obama had functionally the exact same economic policy. Bailouts and government spending.

Not that I'm justifying it, but the scale was different. And TARP was inevitable because of the involvement of Freddie and Fannie into the lending system. That was not Bush's fault.

Crabby Old Man: The tax rate where I live is over 7%. The Effing government makes twice as much money off of Walmart as Walmart does and Walmart has to do all of the work.
