Guest Post from RickVid of Seattle
Unlike the dangerous and violent Tea Party, May Day protesters in Seattle gathered at the Seattle Center to sing songs, drum for peace, and give out food to the hungry, clothes to the naked, and shelter to the homeless, all of which they paid for from their own pockets. Spoke being Dwimble P. Snardfarkle commented, “See, this is all love and progress. True progressivism! Not like those horrible Tea Baggers! Peace and love.”
Police spokeswomyn Della D. Hardhammer said that police officers helped the May Day activists in their great display of citizenship and charity by keeping order and even giving toys to the kids. “What a wonder of our progressive city,” she rapturously intoned.
Typical leftist “progressive” assholes. Violence, fires, property damage. And these pigs, as well as some of our commenters, continue to yammer that the Tea Party is dangerous. Tell you what – wear an Obama button to a Tea Party protest, or wear a Romney button in downtown Seattle today. At which would you feel safer? If you answer anything but that you’d feel perfectly safe with the Tea Party, you are an idiot and a liar.
Update: Seattle Mayor Authorizes Weapons Seizure
Mayor McGinn authorizes seizure of potential weapons
"After vandals used handheld flag poles to break windows in downtown Seattle today, Mayor Mike McGinn says he will sign an emergency order authorizing police to confiscate items that can be used as weapons. McGinn says police have been using tactics developed in response to the 1999 WTO riots." (source)
