Now, No Excuse For Abortion...

"The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced new guidelines in Washington Monday requiring health insurance plans beginning on or after August 1, 2012 to cover several women's preventive services, including birth control and voluntary sterilization.

According to HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius the decision is a part of the Affordable Care Act's move to stop problems before they start. "These historic guidelines are based on science and existing literature and will help ensure women get the preventive health benefits they need," she said in a news release." (source)

I realize that the lack of accountability for one's own actions in America is what facilitated the 52,008,665 abortions since Roe V. Wade to begin with...

BUT, between this newly mandated free birth control and the over-the-counter availability of the morning after pill...can we embrace some semblance of accountability and eliminate abortion?

At this point, do couples finally have enough 'outs' that we can finally stop making a baby endure it's limbs being vacuumed off as punishment by proxy for the bad luck of being conceived in a person that willingly ignored the 4,000 steps that could have prevented the pregnancy in the first place?!!

Is that really too much to ask?
