Online Dating

There was a special on about online romance/dating last night and four things stood out to me as pretty interesting:

1 in 14 people in the world are on facebook.

For every inch a man is under 5'10, they need to make $40,000 more per year.

Women are most afraid an internet hookup will be a serial killer.

Men are most afraid an internet hookup will be fat.

"Women are more likely to rate men as "below average looking." Men often choose a mate based on body mass index and age.

But the sexes have one thing in common -- they both lie." (SOURCE)

I don't really know what any of that is indicative of... Just really fascinating...

I actually have quite a few friends that have met their others right here in cyber world. And my favorite of those couples is now expecting their first baby...

I'm actually toying with doing a 'Blonde Sagacity Bachelorette' for a friend that is a great catch and desperately needs to ditch their current man for a decent one...
