Question for the Pro-Choice Folks...

Last night I was watching that new Discovery Health Series "I'm Pregnant and _____" ...Add any horrible thing to that blank space and it's probably been done...in prison, addicted to heroin, homeless, mentally ill, etc. The last episode I watched was "I'm pregnant with an eating disorder" and it was about a woman with anorexia nervosa that was in her final trimester and was still starving herself and exercising compulsively. Her husband was distraught. He wondered wondered tearfully what harm his wife was doing their child by restricting food and drink and what the long term repercussions on the infant would be...

That got me wondering.

In the Pro-choice (NOW, NARAL, Planned Parenthood) community, does that father have a right to express concern, demand she eat or seek a court order for counseling? Is it her right to starve herself since it is her body? Is it woman's right to shoot smack or prostitute themselves? It would have to be right...or all the "It's a woman's body" stuff would just be crap...right?
