Should You Judge A Man By His Fans?

  • Barack Obama's call for action on climate change and his admission that rich nations have a particular responsibility to lead has received strong praise from an unusual source — U.S. nemesis Fidel Castro.

The former Cuban leader on Wednesday called the American president's speech at the United Nations "brave" and said no other American head of state would have had the courage to make similar remarks..."(source)

  • "We are content and happy if Obama can stay forever as the president of the United States," said [Moammar] Kadafi, Libya's leader since a military coup in 1969."(source)

  • "The last time he was here, Hugo Chavez called then U.S. President George W. Bush "the devil," but on Wednesday Venezuela's leader offered slightly more-positive sentiments for Barack Obama.

  • I'm curious how the Left would find a way to argue that George W. Bush wasn't in a better position with depots like this despising him... I mean, honestly, does it keep Obama awake at night that these men are among his biggest fans? If I had some whacked out fan club, I'd have to question what beliefs I shared with said wackos... Does he soul search about this? Can I submit that question to flag.gov?
