America is NOT a Muslim Country. In Fact...

"In an interview with Laura Haim on Canal Plus, a French television station, Mr. Obama noted that the United States also could be considered as “one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.” (source)

America has (an estimated) 2.3 million Muslims out of 303,824,640 people (and we have to surmise that "jail-house converts" make up a percentage of that number --and do they really adhere to the tenets of Islam once they're sprung? ...I doubt it or there would be no recidivism.)

Pakistan has 150 million Muslims out of 172,800,048 people. THAT'S a Muslim nation.

Actually, the 2.3 Muslims in this country might be interested to know that this is not only NOT a Muslim nation, but in fact a nation modeled after Moses and the ancient Israelites...that's about as far from Muslim as you can get. Jefferson, Franklin and Adams even recommended that the official seal of the United States depict the Israelites being led through the wilderness by God's pillar of fire.

The principle characteristics of the "People's Law" in ancient Israel that were adopted by our founding fathers:

A commonwealth of freemen with the basic tenet "Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof." (Leviticus 25:10) This inscription appears on the American liberty bell.

The people were organized into small, manageable units where representatives had a voice and a vote.

There was emphasis on strong, local self government.

Code of justice based on reparation to the victim rather than fines and punishment by the commonwealth (other than first degree murder which was punishable by death).

Leaders were elected and new law approved by the common consent of the people.

Accused people were presumed to be innocent until proven guilty.(source)

So, maybe Obama (along with most Americans -myself included) need to revisit the writings and intentions of the founding fathers... This nation was modeled much closer to Anarchy than Sharia.
