From the "Other Side": Post on FNC by J. Marquis

"In case any of you were planning on watching Fox News between now
and the election, let me save you the time and trouble. The
sentences spewing from their noiseholes will just be varying
combinations of the following words and phrases:

Obama, the One, Bill Ayers, Reverend Wright, socialism, celebrity,
Khalidi, traitor, inexperienced, conspiracy, radical, Hollywood,
Joe the Plumber, real Americans, anti-Semitic, Hussein, elitist,
Marxist, ACORN, Palestinian, share the wealth, black.

Check it for any given five minute period and you'll see what I mean."

Sing With Me, Sing for the Year...

I know some Dems would say posting about a McCain Celeb endorsement is hypocritical because I couldn't care less about the celebrities pledging their firstborn to Obama.

I am only posting this because so few celebs are ballsy enough to say they are voting RIGHT that it's alway interesting to see who has the real cajones in Hollywood and the music business where being Conservative is rebellious...

"...Republican John McCain's bid to become the next president of the United States has won the support of Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry.

The guitarist told the Boston Herald that he thought Mr McCain was better suited to solving threats to America's national security and its economic problems than rival Barack Obama.

The guitarist told the newspaper that he had been a Republican all his life.

“My mother and father drilled into me from the very start that if you work hard and be positive, you’ll get what you’re working for. I guess I’m living proof of that,” he said..." (source)

(P.S. I do believe Joe Perry has discovered the fountain of youth...)

Stop the Smears

Dear Representative John Murtha,

In November 2005, you accused a group of United States Marines of killing “innocent civilians in cold blood”. You made these allegations during an ongoing investigation. In fact, a Marine Corps spokesman said that you made your statement a week before you had even been briefed.

You continued to accuse these eight Marines of “cold-blooded murder and war crimes” well into the next year, even after the Marine Corps itself said your comments on the matter “would be inappropriate and could undermine the investigatory and possible legal process.”

As a result of the investigation, the charges were dropped against 7 of the 8 Marines and the other Marine is awaiting his day in court.

However, you have not withdrawn your statements or apologized for your defamatory remarks.

Marines implicated in the incident believe that you have committed slander and libel against them. These United States Marines, whose honor you have attacked, deserve to hear an apology from you.

We, the undersigned, implore you, Representative Murtha, as a man who serves the public in Congress, as a man who once served in the Marine Corps, to do the honorable thing.

You must apologize.

Obama's Video Resume

...sorry I was late, ...sorry I missed it, ...sorry I wasn't here...

The Phils Beat William Penn

...and the Rays, but that's the minor story. The major story is the fact that the Curse of Billie Penn has FINALLY been broken --and THAT means my Flyers can win the Stanley Cup this year! :)

Maybe we have the Comcast Center owner to thank for all this:

"Keeping alive a centuries-old tradition - with a Philadelphia twist - a beam was hoisted to the highest point of Comcast Center today, topping off Philadelphia's new tallest skyscraper.

There was a small tree at one end of the beam, which had been signed by workers and those gathered for the ceremony, and an American flag at the other.

Between them was a statue of William Penn, the city's founder. There is a myth that Philadelphia's sports teams will not win a championship as long as a building "rises above Billy Penn" on City Hall, said Bill Hankowsky, chief executive officer of Liberty Property Trust, the Malvern company that is building Comcast Center.

He was referring to the controversy two decades ago when One Liberty Place, also built by Liberty, became the first to break that barrier.

"We don't believe in the myth, but to be safe we've added the statue of Billy Penn," Hankowsky said." (source)

Foreign Leaders & Obama

We already know that "the world" favors B. Hussein. ...But then again, most of the world doesn't shave their armpits and mocks Americans for being 'too clean'. That kinda negates their opinions on more important matters...

My sister-in-law is Japanese (and still lives in Japan until they can navigate the VISA hurdles). The other day my mom asked her what they were hearing overseas about this election... She said they broadcast the Democratic National Convention and news about Barack...BUT, she didn't even know the name of the Republican Candidate.

So given the seeming global fanfare for Barry, I was surprised to run across these two stories (small and buried as they may have been):

"...French President Nicolas Sarkozy is very critical of U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama's positions on Iran, according to reports that have reached Israel's government.

Sarkozy has made his criticisms only in closed forums in France. But according to a senior Israeli government source, the reports reaching Israel indicate that Sarkozy views the Democratic candidate's stance on Iran as "utterly immature" and comprised of "formulations empty of all content." .." (source)

-And Cherie Blair on Sarah Palin's treatment by the press (though I think it's her treatment by the average woman is what's been appalling):

VAN SUSTEREN: Have you watched the way the media treats Governor Palin? Have you taken a look at that?

CHERIE BLAIR, WIFE OF TONY BLAIR: I think it's a fascinating thing the way the media treats any women in public life. You know, it is extraordinary, isn't it, that, in the end, the issues all seem to come down to what we wear, what we look like, much more than what we're saying.

VAN SUSTEREN: Why?

BLAIR: I don't know. I think they find it difficult to cope with women who have opinions and women who are actually making it in a man's world." (source)

Of course I don't really care what The Frenchie Prez or Cherie Blair thinks about our election, BUT the MSM was always diligent about plastering it above the fold when the criticism was about Bushie...

Could It All Come Down to Pennsylvania?

Months ago I wrote about the exciting fact that Keystone State Republicans would finally have a voice in this election. Our primaries are too late to 'count' and this state hasn't gone RED since 1988. BUT, this time it looks like WE may be the deciding factor and this will be one of those times where EVERY vote will count.

I don't believe the polls for my state. Pennsylvania is chock full of FDR/Reagan Democrats. Union workers and Catholics that would be Republican were it not for family tradition, etc. Many of the houses in my neighborhood that were sporting Hillary signs in the primary now have McCain signs. Most of the Union guys I know are annoyed their Unions have endorsed Obama and are voting McCain.

That might sound like this all makes me hopeful --and normally it would. BUT, I know too many (oh, there are so many colorful words I could use here) people that have claimed they are making a statement by "not voting for anyone" on November 4th. So basically these high IQ folks are handing the election to Barack. How many times do I have to explain to these dolts that the primaries are where you make your statements and you vote your ideals in the general regardless of whether you LIKE the candidate...no one's asking you to invite him to your house or to date him. There are two SCOTUS appointments to think of. There are taxes to keep in check and a war on islamofacists to think of...

The Problem with B. Hussein Obama's $250,000

FROM BILL'S WORDS

Article here.

My wife and I will likely fall into the “Obama’s Wealth Redistribution” category when he is elected. (Sorry, Senator McCain, but you keep shooting yourself in the foot and unless you pull off a miracle—and I’m praying for one—on November 4th, B. Hussein Obama will win the election.) Even though our income will be greater than Obamessiah’s magic (and arbitrary) number of $250,000, we’re paid not much more per hour than some telemarketers, drafters, RN’s, and other not-usually-considered-rich people.

I’m the less-hard-working of the two of us. I work 40-hour weeks. A lot of those “less rich” people mentioned above work harder than I do. So perhaps I deserve to be taxed a little more than most.

But my wife is another story entirely. She works 70+ hours per week to earn that money, and she works harder than many of those people who aren’t considered “rich” by Obamessiah. And yet she still earns less per hour than those folks I mentioned above. Talk about your disincentives!

So, is $250,000 a fair number? It doesn’t matter: it’s the method used to determine who’s rich and who’s not. It doesn’t take into account how hard someone works for that money, and it certainly doesn’t take into account how that person’s take-home pay is used. Is it being saved? Is it being invested? (These are two activities that we in the US punish, not reward, and I’m betting that Hussein will continue that trend by increasing capital gains taxes.)

So tax the rich more, but for goodness’ sake, tax those who don’t work for their money (lucky gamblers and lottery winners come to mind). Tax the people who are significantly overpaid. (What attorney is worth $1000 per hour? What CEO is worth $20,000 per hour? What entertainer is worth $73,000 per hour?).+

Bottom line, Barry: Don’t assume that earning money makes us rich. Working for a fair wage and being paid a fair wage should not be the handicap you would have it be.
_____________________________________________________________________________________
+ I took the numbers I found at the referenced sites and divided them by 80 hours per week, 52 weeks a year. That’s being ridiculously conservative and makes their hourly rates appear to be smaller than they really are. In reality, how many hours per week do these guys work? And how many of them work 52 weeks per year, i.e., with no vacation? Again, taking that into account would only serve to increase their hourly rate.

For example, if Howard Stern works only, say, sixty hours per week and 50 weeks per year, his hourly rate goes from $73,000 to $101,000. Can you say “absurd,” boys and girls?

Good. I knew you could.

[Redistributive] Change

Predictions: McCain V. Obama

We are EIGHT days out from the election. Eight days...Geez.

So, I'm incredibly worried. I wasn't worried in 2004...I knew Bush would beat Kerry. This time, not so much. We've already discussed the mentality of most Americans and how they swoon over the word 'change' without ever asking 'what change?'. That they believe commercials are the gospel and Obama the Messiah. That they will elect Barack because they 'hate Bush.'

Gut feeling...who do you think is going to win? How close will it be? Can we trust the polls? Will the exit polls hurt Obama or McCain? Will ACORN 'voters' ruin the election?

See what other Right Wing Bloggers think over at RWN

And more audio that should be playing in McCain commercials:

Vote Early, Vote Often

Election Day is November 4th...right? And we have absentee ballots in case you'll be unable to vote that day...correct?

So what's with the early voting? Why bother having an election day? When and why did this start? Wikipedia says that TEXAS started this strange and seemingly unnecessary practice.

This also from Wiki:
"The goal of early voting is usually to increase participation and relieve congestion of polling stations on Election Day." (source)

It's bad enough you don't even have to speak the tongue to vote --or better yet to have to take a general aptitude test...but now you don't even have to get to a polling station on election day. I'm not sure why but this annoys me greatly.

I hate baseball. It's sooooo incredibly & mind-numbingly boring that I won't even take free tickets when they're offered. Somehow my little Ninja is a HUGE Phillies (and Chase Utley) fan. A kid of mine that prefers baseball to hockey...obviously I did something wrong!

But I digress. I will indeed be watching Game 3 tonight because my dad (92alpha) will be a part of the opening ceremonies. He'll either be holding an individual flag or helping to roll out the big one. He's the one that looks like Alex Trebeck :)

Political Attack?

"...Ashley Todd 20, was robbed at a cash machine in Bloomfield, Pittsburgh.

The attacker put a knife to her throat and stole $60. But police said he then became angry when he saw a John McCain bumper sticker on her car.

He punched and kicked Miss Todd before using the knife to scratch the letter 'B' into her face.

Miss Todd refused to comment, but friends told the Tribune Review newspaper she was in Pittsburgh volunteering for the McCain-Palin campaign..." (source)

Why is the 'B' backwards...as if carved with a paper clip using a mirror ?

I was feeling really guilty for having a gut feeling that this story wasn't true. My kids get annoyed because I always assume people are lying (I'm like Dr. House that way), but most people lie about almost everything.

Then my sis told me that O'Reilly seemed skeptical about it and I found this site this morning.

Granted, I'll feel bad if it's true...but I have to say what I think here.

Obama and the Economy: Isn't It Ironic

...that the "big money people" are speculating the market is dropping due to speculation that Obama will win the Presidency --yet the worse the economy gets, the better Barack does?

Alanis should write a song...

From Cutting Through the Fog:

"...There is no real business person or investor in this world that would believe that Mr. Obama's tax plans won't be extremely detrimental to businesses in this country and to the global economy. Investors are yanking their money out of the stock markets, around the world, in order to keep their powder dry until they can navigate through the future of investing. That future definitely includes the plans that Obama and the Democrats have in store for business in this country. I also think that the investment community is concerned that we will move into a protectionist mode because Obama and the Democrats appear to be so resistant to free trade agreements. Certainly, any protectionist movement by the United States could seriously hamper international trade and that could ripple throughout the global economy. America is still looked upon as the primary driver in any world economy. What investor's are seeing from America is causing global fear and not confidence.

Another evidence of the fear of Obama rule, is the fact that power and gas utility stocks have tanked almost 50% in the last year. Normally, utility stocks are "safe havens" because those companies have a captive consumer base that tends to have limited losses of profits in a recession. While those consumers might reduce consumption of electricity and natural gas, their is a finite limit to what they can do to save energy costs. At best, maybe 10 or 15 percent. For a gas or electric utility to fall as much as 50 percent makes no sense unless you really start thinking about what the investment community is saying. Under Obama's plan, dividend income will be taxed at the pre-Bush levels of 39.6% as compared to the current 15% rate. This fact, alone, makes utility stocks unattractive; especially in comparison to a tax-free municipal bond that is paying near 6 percent but is tax free. This is a substantially better investment than a utility stock that may be paying a 5% dividend and will carry a 40% tax rate under Obama..." (Read the entire post)

Barack's Birth: But Was the Manger in the USA?

I didn't realize there were still ongoing lawsuits in the matter of the American people vs. Barack Obama in the matter of his birthplace and subsequent possible intelligibility to be President...

Andy Martin is suing Hawaii's Governor and Director of the Department of Health.
Filed 10/17/08:
"...Plaintiff is physically present in Hawaii and is available to appear before the Court in person at any hearing on or before October 22, 2008.
There is intense national interest in access to an officially certified copy of the birth certificate in question as well as any related supporting information which the defendants may have in their possession."

Steven Marquis claims Barry was born in Kenya:
"...claims Obama's birth certificate from Hawaii does not prove he is a natural-born citizen because it doesn't show the name of the hospital, a doctor's name or a baby's footprint.

Marquis, who intends to represent himself, said his legal challenge is one of several across the country that alleges the 47-year-old senator from Illinois was not born in the United States, but in Kenya, the country of his father's origin..."

Obama does now admit to having "duel citizenship" from Kenya... Also at Factcheck.org

I can't understand why B. Hussein's handlers haven't put this to rest if it has no merit...

Hunting Sarah

This from Pagan Politics:

Imagine for a moment that you have an opportunity to pretend you are killing Sarah Palin. Would you do it? Would it be cool with your morals? After all, it’s only imaginary. Well an artist in New York City has thought all this through and decided that shooting Sarah or her daughter Piper might just be great fun. This woman has made it possible for passersby to line up with a gun and pretend they are doing just that. What’s the harm? It’s only make believe. Right.

NYC Museum Exhibit ‘Pokes Fun’ at Palin
"Visitors can don a fake-fur vest and hold a cardboard rifle to pose with the vice-presidential candidate and her daughter.

The artwork called “A Photo Op with Sarah Palin” opened last month at the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition.

Artist Dawn Robyn Petrlik says humor is sometimes the best way to deal with serious issues like images of the governor celebrating her kill. The artist says the sight bothers her and clashes with Palin’s “pro-life stance.”

The piece costs $12,500, but getting a picture taken is free."

Noticeably absent from this description is the fact that onlookers are offered the opportunity to pick up a gun and pretend that they are actually hunting Sarah. Isn’t that quaint?

Have a look.

Now think for just a minute. Would behavior like this be tolerated if the image was of Barack Obama and his family, and patrons were offered the opportunity to shoot him and them? Or maybe someone put up a noose and made it possible to pretend you were lynching Obama?

Of course not.

Colin Powell *Hearts* Barack Too?

Or is it a "Black thing"? Or maybe a get back at Bushy thing? Or could it just be a job thing?

"Colin Powell will have a role as a top presidential adviser in an Obama administration, the Democratic White House hopeful said Monday.

"He will have a role as one of my advisers," Barack Obama said on NBC's "Today" in an interview aired Monday, a day after Powell, a four-star general and President Bush's former secretary of state, endorsed him.

"Whether he wants to take a formal role, whether that's a good fit for him, is something we'd have to discuss," Obama said." (source)

Voter Fraud at 7-11

Forget about the hundreds of thousands of "second graders and Disney characters" that ACORN has registered to vote this election cycle...7-11 employers are attempting to suppress the vote of the blonde haired, blue eyed constituents.

As you may or may not know, 'Sev' boasts they have predicted the outcome of the last few presidential elections by their election time coffee cup sales. Now, I know this is wrong here in PA because NO ONE drinks 7-11 coffee. First choice is WaWa, then Dunkin' Donuts...but never 7-11 (though, it might be 7-11 in the badlands...)

Anyway, yesterday my sis and I went to Sev to see if we could get the McCain cups for something other than coffee. The cup has a big arrow that points to the UPC and states, "This is how we count your vote." Our cashier didn't scan ours! My sis quickly asked if they needed to be scanned and the girl said, "I got them." Ah, but you didn't SCAN them, you just charged us for 3 large coffees and unlike the people ACORN is registering...I can read.

So 7-11 can try to cash in on the election by claiming that "Every cup counts", but every cup doesn't count if the McCain cups aren't being scanned. (And just to test my theory, I'll break down and get an Obama cup today to see if the receipt is different). How's that for investigative journalism!? Blonde Sagacity...drinking 7-11 coffee so you don't have to! :)

Viva Obama

This gave me chills...

The First Black President ...A Republican?

Progressives mad that the first female VP might be ripped from their clutches will not like this article that I came across the other night:

"...Will Americans vote for a black president? If the notorious historian William Estabrook Chancellor was right, we already did. In the early 1920s, Chancellor helped assemble a controversial biographical portrait accusing President Warren Harding of covering up his family's "colored" past. According to the family tree Chancellor created, Harding was actually the great-grandson of a black woman. Under the one-drop rule of American race relations, Chancellor claimed, the country had inadvertently elected its "first Negro president."

In today's presidential landscape, many Americans view the prospect of a black man in the Oval Office as a sign of progress — evidence of a "postracial" national consciousness. In the white-supremacist heyday of the 1920s (the Ku Klux Klan had a major revival during the Harding years), the taint of "Negro blood" was political death. The Harding forces hit back hard against Chancellor, driving him out of his job and destroying all but a handful of published copies of his book..." (source)

Just thought this was interesting...

Guest Post By One of My Liberal Brothers

Dear Fox News & General Conservative Media

Thanks so much for the heads-up on Barack Obama. He seemed like a pretty "mainstream" politician to me until all of these creepy associations came out. I guess I should have known better; I mean, look at his name!

Anyway, this guilt-by-association tactic of indictment is a powerful tool. There's so much out there and I never even knew it! Get a load of this list of other potentially dangerous people:

FRIENDS OF TERRORISTS

Rep. Walter Annenberg, funding Terrorism? Obama and Republican Arnold Weber are definitely scum for playing paddy-cake with domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, but this piece of shit appointed him to his board! This also makes one think about the poor judgment of those who would befriend someone like Annenberg. I'm looking at you, Ronald Reagan.

William C. Ibershof, a Turncoat? The lead prosecutor of the Weather Underground wrote an Op-ed to the NY Times DEFENDING Obama, saying he is "amazed and outraged that Senator Barack Obama is being linked to William Ayers' terrorist activities 40 years ago when Mr. Obama was, as he has noted, just a child." Obviously he's in cahoots with these cretins.

Sarah Palin, sleeping with a secessionist for years! Does Sarah Palin know that she's been getting intimate with a man who was a member of the Alaska Independence Party from 1995 -2002? Okay, it could be that Todd has placed a voodoo curse on poor Sarah, and that would explain why she herself has attended several events for this group of treasonous secessionists. (Quoth the party founder: "The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government") But even so, who knows what other dangerous decisions this voodoo curse will force Sarah to make?

John McCain: Advocate of Killing Feds? As self-described "old friends," John McCain and G. Gordon Liddy might possibly share the disregard for federal officers. Quoth Liddy: "Now if the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms comes to disarm you and they are bearing arms, resist them with arms. Go for a head shot; they're going to be wearing bulletproof vests. ... Kill the sons of bitches."

UN-FRIENDS OF ISRAEL

Palin: Possible Jew Hater Sarah was in the audience of Wasilla Assembly of God when witch-hunter Thomas Muthee claimed that the "Israelites" control the world's banks, and also when David Brickner (of Jews for Jesus fame) said that Palestinian attacks on Israel are a reflection on God's judgment on the "Israelites." While we all know that to be perfectly true, we musn't let them find out about our plan! If not, the apture-ray might not go as ophesied-pray.

John McCain: flirting with Racism?
As a former member of the United States Council for World Freedom, John McCain helped fight the commies in the Iran-Contra Affair, but at what cost? The Anti-defamtion League has called the USCWF "a point of contact for extremists, racists and anti-Semites." This included Dr. Inamullah Khan, a Muslim activist and ardent anti-Semite. Taking sides with Muslims? That's so late 80's...

Sean Hannity: Anti-Semite? Hannity relies on anti-Semite Andy Martin for information about Obama. If he believes this stuff, he could also be receptive to The Anthony R. Martin-Trigona Congressional Campaign to Exterminate Jew Power in America.

OTHER:

John McCain: Commie? There are no testimonials to back this up, but did you hear about his plan for mortgages mentioned in the second debate?? Such a plan is proof positive that McCain has been palling around with the ideas of none other than Karl Marx.

St. Augustine of Hippo: "Loved" Cavorting with "Sinners"
The seeds of spineless liberalism are found in the works of this early Christian "intellectual" (another word for elitist). He said "hate the sin, love the sinner." So, even if a person committed an act that was atrocious to him, old Augustine would wine, dine and you-know-what with these derelicts. Talk about a sick fetish.

Anyway, thanks again for this great new way to expose the underhanded, shifty motives of our world's leaders. It really makes things clearer. I wish I could add to my list, but I'm going to turn myself in for being a sympathizer of socialism and anarchism. You see, I went to Central High School in Philadelphia, and so did Noam Chomsky. It sucks, but I should have known better! Damn, that means Bill Cosby is coming with me too.

"Republicans for Obama" ?!

I tend to distrust signs claiming the person is one party and voting for the other's candidate. I guess I shouldn't though...

In the 2004 election I knew someone that voted for John Kerry because Bush "wasn't bombing enough in Iraq." Bush wasn't being hawkish enough so give your vote to the dove?!

In this election I have heard tell of Republicans voting for Obama because they are sick of the war. I tend to think these weren't actual Republicans to begin with --or maybe Republicans and not Conservatives?

The Man and I were talking about this the other night and decided that if you truly have a fixed set of ideals and beliefs...it wouldn't ever matter who the candidate is.

A true Conservative will always be opposed to big government, higher taxes and additional federally funded social programs. The true Conservative will be pro-life a majority of the time. The Conservative is pro-military and realizes that "freedom is only one generation away from extinction."

A liberal will most likely be pro-abortion. They will champion social warfare and higher taxes 'for the rich' (forgetting that a sole proprietorship can show a 1040 tax return of over $300K while the family eats Oodles of Noodles). The liberal will call for expansion of existing social programs and the creation of more. They will overuse the word diplomacy and steer America in the same path that Neville Chamberlain took the UK.

These are fixed beliefs. They don't change with the candidates...do they? Even if I hated McCain with a passion--I am 1,000 more aligned with the platform of the RNC than I could ever be with the DNC or their candidate.

If William Buckley Jr.'s son decided he's voting Obama --who gives a crap? Who knows if he was a Conservative to begin with. Two of my brothers are voting for Obama. Does that somehow make me less of a Conservative --or does it strengthen my positions knowing I came from a house that produced and array of political opinions...

Finding My Rhythm

The new little man and I came home at the end of last week and we've been taking some time to adjust and fall into a schedule.

Released

The day after our arrival, there was a knock on the door. FedEx had an overnight delivery I had to sign for. I thought The Man had ordered yet another pair of tanker boots... I was wrong. To my shock, it was from RBP (formerly JFM) and it was racks of ribs, baked beans and mustard slaw from Charles Vergos' Rendezvous Ribs in Memphis! I took the chance that after eating them I would suddenly feel the urge to Vote for Hope & Change and I'm glad I did! Those ribs were slammin' (and the mustard slaw is now one of my new favorite things)! So thank you RBP --that was so thoughtful. So many people here have been so incredibly kind over the years that I have been blogging...

So thanks all for bearing with me as I figure out this blogging with a newborn thing. Thanks for all your words of encouragement and support after he was born. Reading your comments helped passed the time in the hospital.

Thanks! :)

Lots of pain, but still no baby :(
Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile

Finally...

Today, at 8 am, I was admitted to the hospital to induce the labor of my third (and LAST) child.

I am using a midwife this time around (though still in a medical setting) and joyfully participating in all the midwifery voodoo (LeBoyer bath, etc.).

Hopefully this will be a natural birth with no operating rooms involved, and if I set up the mobile Blogging correctly...I'll let you know when he arrives.

"Obama & Friends - A History Of Radicalism"

Sean Hannity of Hannity's America Special Report Entitled "Obama & Friends - A History Of Radicalism" Including Black Panthers, Bill Ayers, Muslim, and Saudi, Khalid Monsour Connections. Part 1:

Part II
Part III
Part IV
Part V
Part VI

I fear many won't watch this because it's Sean Hannity presenting it...but there are even questions from the NYT included. I want Obama voters to watch ALL the parts of this special (It's an HOUR long, BUT you are voting for the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA) It's worth an hour of your time.

Economy, Housing and Continued Blame-Shifting

"...Unqualified home buyers were not the only ones who benefitted from Massachusetts Rep. Barney Frank’s efforts to deregulate Fannie Mae throughout the 1990s.

So did Frank’s partner, a Fannie Mae executive at the forefront of the agency’s push to relax lending restrictions.

Now that Fannie Mae is at the epicenter of a financial meltdown that threatens the U.S. economy, some are raising new questions about Frank's relationship with Herb Moses, who was Fannie’s assistant director for product initiatives. Moses worked at the government-sponsored enterprise from 1991 to 1998, while Frank was on the House Banking Committee, which had jurisdiction over Fannie.

Although Frank now blames Republicans for the failure of Fannie and Freddie, he spent years blocking GOP lawmakers from imposing tougher regulations on the mortgage giants. In 1991, the year Moses was hired by Fannie, the Boston Globe reported that Frank pushed the agency to loosen regulations on mortgages for two- and three-family homes, even though they were defaulting at twice and five times the rate of single homes, respectively.

"I think the responsibility that the Democrats have may rest more in resisting any efforts by Republicans in the Congress or by me when I was president, to put some standards and tighten up a little on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac," Clinton said recently." (source)

Truthfully, I have no sympathy for Wall Street OR Main Street. The story about Addie Polk doesn't tug at my heart strings --it's not the standard. The "folks" on "Main Street" were just as irresponsible as the bigwigs on Wall Street IMO.

Who are the people that got loans that are now in jeopardy?
1) People that outright couldn't afford them and put no money down --so are basically where they started anyway.
2) People that were looking to "Flip that House" --the gamble didn't pan out.
3) People that already had a house but decided to upgrade to one they knew they couldn't afford.
Is it so wrong that I have sympathy for none of the above?

This is more American entitlement at play. I DESERVE a house because the Jones' have one. There should be a government program to get me that house regardless of whether I can afford it or not...

I'm just so sick of Obama getting a bounce from the economy woes when:

"Lehman Brothers collapse is traced back to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the two big mortgage banks that got a federal bailout a few weeks ago.

Freddie and Fannie used huge lobbying budgets and political contributions to keep regulators off their backs.

A group called the Center for Responsive Politics keeps track of which politicians get Fannie and Freddie political contributions. The top three U.S. senators getting big Fannie and Freddie political bucks were Democrats and No. 2 is Sen. Barack Obama.

Now remember, he's only been in the Senate four years, but he still managed to grab the No. 2 spot ahead of John Kerry — decades in the Senate — and Chris Dodd, who is chairman of the Senate Banking Committee..." (source)

Wouldn't it be nice if Americans actually read more than headlines and commercial text?!

I'm Obsessed With Obsession

A week or so ago The Man got a DVD in the mail...normally I don;t even look at unsolicited mail and itch it right away. BUT, I had remembered seeing that CAIR was suing over a DVD called "Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West" --and anything CAIR is against must be worth seeing IMO.

Apparently 28 MILLION copies of this DVD were sent out and I hope people took the time to watch it. What an amazing film with chilling and UNDENIABLE comparisons between Nazi Germany and Radical Islam.

The only problem was at it's conclusion, The Man and I were more upset with The Left (and their tolerance and denial) than the Islamofacists.

Once again, I challenge all my Liberal friends and acquaintances to watch this movie --especially my liberal Jewish friends...

Wake Up Infidels!

Here is Part 1 of 10 on You Tube (Links for 2-10 can be found on the same page) OR you can pay $4.95 and watch it online.

This movie and the information presented within is crucial for ALL Americans to see.

The Potential Veeps Debate: Palin VS. Biden

Look at the headlines about last night's debate:

Perky Palin lacks seriousness Boston Globe
Palin short on substance in showdown with Biden Detroit Free Press
Palin struggles to keep up with Biden Chicago Sun-Times, United States
A less-popular Sarah Palin heads to debate Los Angeles Times

Once again the MSM was watching a different debate than I was --and that polling groups of Independent voters were watching... The talking heads were saying that Palin "lacked substance", but so did Biden in my opinion...and it was not either of their faults. How profound can one be in 90 seconds?

I thought the Governor definitely held her own and actually left Biden with not much to say a few times when she used his own presidential bid stump speeches chastising B. Hussein against him...

Psst: McCain's Campaign....

Since McCain's campaign is SERIOUSLY slacking in the television arena (who the hell is running your media devision John?!) I thought I'd remind them of a little gem that I should have seen in a commercial already:

"...Hillary Clinton told reporters that both she and the presumptive Republican nominee John McCain offer the experience to be ready to tackle any crisis facing the country under their watch, but Barack Obama simply offers more rhetoric. “I think you'll be able to imagine many things Senator McCain will be able to say,” she said. “He’s never been the president, but he will put forth his lifetime of experience. I will put forth my lifetime of experience. Senator Obama will put forth a speech he made in 2002.” Clinton was referring to Obama’s anti-war speech he delivered in Chicago before entering the United States Senate..." (source)

Add this to the growing list of things McCain's campaign in squandering away...

Shall we form a BS non-profit, make a list and I'll see if I can get it to someone meaningful in the campaign?

Philly Cop Executed by Lifetime Felon Muslim

Who executed 30 year old Sergeant Patrick McDonald?

Daniel Giddings:
"WHILE OTHER KIDS his age played video games or rode bikes, Daniel Giddings was out committing felonies.

At age 10, he beat up and robbed a mentally challenged man, court records show.

"Neighbors told his mom when he was 10 years old she should buy a black dress now," Assistant District Attorney Joseph Coolican told a judge in 2000 just before Giddings, then 18, was sentenced in a 1998 carjacking case in which he shot the victim in both kneecaps.

At the time, Coolican told the judge that in his four years of prosecuting violent thugs, he'd never seen a defendant more likely to commit a crime again, according to a court transcript.

"I'm telling [the judge], he'll never be a safe person, never let him back on the street," Coolican recalled yesterday in a phone interview."

When you read about this degenerate, it makes it sickening to hear his uncle say that police shot him "because he was a Muslim". Yeah, that's it. Not because he executed a cop or anything...and I guess officers innately knew this lifetime thug was a Muslim because all we hear shoved down our throats is that it's a 'religion of peace". Argghhh!

How much tax money was wasted trying to "reform" this asshole? Will the judge be held accountable for handing down a minimum sentence for his last crime "because she was impressed with his GED grades"? Will the parole board that new he had committed over 20 infractions and spent more than 500 days "in the hole" but STILL APPROVED his parole be held accountable?

Unfortunately, even if they were all held accountable a thirty year old Philadelphia police officer (son of a retired Philadelphia Fire Chief) would still be gone.

Please read Captian America's take on the atrocity too.

I am so disgusted with the liberal policies that constantly reward the criminals... It may not be a "political" thing, but it's definitely an ideology thing.

An American Carol: In Theaters 10/3/08

Anyone that "knows" me is aware of my very immature sense of humor --I think David Zucker and the Airplane movies was where that humor was originally fostered. I really can't wait to see this...
