World Islamic Court for "War Crimes"

"...Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who accuses the West of monopolizing power in world bodies, proposed on Tuesday setting up an international Islamic court to try war criminals and other human rights violators.

The president gave few details about his proposal, made at a meeting of judiciary chiefs from Islamic countries. But he repeated his assertions that bodies like the UN Security Council were being manipulated by the West.

"Today it is necessary to create an international Islamic court for pursuing and following international criminals, those who violates the rights of nations, war criminals and governments ..." Ahmadinejad said in a televised speech..." (source)

I got shivers when I read this. Not because I think anyone will listen to the Grand Holocaust Denier, but because of the conversations I could envision here. A flash of an uptown NYC cocktail party flashed through my mind with Vegan liberals in hemp pants sipping Appletinis saying, "Well, it's only fair our soldiers be judged in an Islamic court. Look what we've done to them at GITMO. Some of them haven't even had a day in court."
Like I said, shivers.
