From the Blogroll: Things You Shouldn't Miss
I *heart* this man...the "biggest obstacle to education?" The NEA. Amen Fred!
Dana at Common Sense Political Thought is talking about National Review's Mitt Romney endorsement and some of the discrepancies their explanation has. Teflon Don, from Acute Politics, has been home for a few months now and in the process of readjusting. His last entry is about driving here in the States after driving in Fallujah. American Soldier is back and wondering what people think about soldiers that continue their blogs when they come home...and what direction those blogs should take. An interesting question actually... Robbie, from Urban Grounds, wants to know; If We Win the War, but the MSM Doesn’t Report it, How Will We Know? I have been seeing little stories about decreased violence, etc. linked over at Free Republic, but haven't seen anything to that effect reported by the MSM. Common Folk Using Common Sense reminds us that today is Bill of Rights Day (Declared by FDR in 1941). Wyatt over at SYLG seems pretty upset over news that Jessica Alba is pregnant... Captain America, of First In!, has some pics posted of the new fire boat in Philadelphia -one that may actually get to the fire because it goes about 40MPH. I'm not sure if he went to the dedication yesterday, but 92alpha was there and was pretty shocked by a comment made by our illustrious Mayor Street. He said (and I paraphrase) that we were lucky to have a President that understands how important it is to protect our country and that because of his programs the funds for this new boat. A Philadelphia politician saying something positive about George Bush? Maybe it is the end... Twisted Chick has a post up that I have actually read twice now. I want to print it and put it on my fridge and re-read it anytime I have something that's momentarily more important than my kids. SoHos had the same reaction The Man and I did when she heard he kids walking around the house singing "Bow Chicka Wow Wow." tesco has an entire play list of songs posted that "pays respect to the Les Paul." Go listen before the Beastie Boys decide to get his blog closed for posting MP3s again...
