Note to Pennsylvania Motorists: The Email Was Wrong

In a recent email chain (probably started by someone at BlueTooth), PA drivers were warned via a PDF forward that as of November 7th, 2007 it will be illegal to talk on your cell while driving.

This is not true.

There is a bill to this effect that was introduced to the House, but is still only in the discussion stages. (source) I have a Bluetooth, but still find it more of a pain for the limited calls I get on my cell than just putting the phone on speaker when I'm in the car...(besides the fact that I don;t want people to think I'm talking to myself).
