There was an article in this month's National Geographic that I found pretty interesting. It said that only 2% of the world's population has red hair. And that 13% of that 2% are in Scotland. Apparently some scientists believe that since only 4% of the population carry the gene (and both parents need to have it) redheads might be extinct by 2100. Real redheads that is. Guys that are into redheads don't fret, $123 million was spent last year on red hair dye...in the US alone.
