Reviving the Immigration Bill?
Rush quoted a few polls yesterday that showed support for the Immigration Bill by the American people at a measly 26%. Obviously that means that 74% are against the proposed legislation. Which also means that Republicans, Democrats, Blacks, Whites, men and woman are all pretty much against it... So, no, not just "nativists" and "extremists" as Blogcritics would have you believe --and not just the Conservatives as Senator McCain suggests.
Even among the smarmy politicians, 38 Republicans and 12 Democrats voted against moving the Shamnesty Bill to a final vote.
The Congress is OUR representation --elected for us by us (kind of like FUBU but politics). So why on Earth would OUR representatives be looking to revive a bill that crossed party, color and gender with sweeping disapproval?! Hello, democracy, is this thing on?
