Smerconish Fills in for Imus...

I have posted quite a few times here about a local Philly talk show host, Michael Smerconish...and have wondered why he hasn't been syndicated yet. He has broad appeal as a show host because, though he leans to the right, he is level headed and a centrist for the most part (IMO).

Some of you may have seen him when he subbed for O'Reilly, but the rest of you can get your chance this week... It seems he's going to be trying on Imus' shoes and filling that slot (both on radio and TV) for the next few days. Smerconish is WAY better than Imus (though I guess that's not saying much).

"The Big Talker 1210 AM morning show of Daily News columnist Michael Smerconish is to be simulcast Monday through Wednesday on MSNBC, the network confirmed Friday.

The show will air on MSNBC from 6 to 9 a.m Monday through Wednesday." (source)

Glenn Beck is from Philly too...and Dom Giordano (who has also filled in for O'Reilly) Obviously, cheesesteaks aren't the only thing we can produce!

And considering far-left MediaMatters.com isn't pleased, I'm just giddy about it. So check out the Philly talent for the next three days...
