Changing History to Avoid Offending Muslims...?

"...Schools are dropping the Holocaust from history lessons to avoid offending Muslim pupils, a Government-backed study has revealed.

It found some teachers are reluctant to cover the atrocity for fear of upsetting students whose beliefs include Holocaust denial.

There is also resistance to tackling the 11th century Crusades - where Christians fought Muslim armies for control of Jerusalem - because lessons often contradict what is taught in local mosques.

The findings have prompted claims that some schools are using history 'as a vehicle for promoting political correctness'..." (source)

As if "The Three Little Pigs" wasn't bad schools in Englandistan are avoiding teaching students about the Holocaust and the Crusades --as not to offend Muslims?! I don't get it...they teach about the Holocaust in GERMANY for Allah's sake and they can't talk about it in front of Muslims? Why? What do they have to do with the Holocaust? Why does this offend their Islamic sensibilities? Why does the UK keep bowing to this...? What are they gaining? I'm so confused...

And did anyone notice this happened:

"...Islamic countries pushed through a resolution at the U.N. Human Rights Council on Friday urging a global prohibition on the public defamation of religion - a response largely to the furor last year over caricatures published in a Danish newspaper of the Muslim Prophet Muhammad.

The statement proposed by the Organization of Islamic Conference addressed what it called a "campaign" against Muslim minorities and the Islamic religion around the world since the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States.

It makes no mention of any other religion besides Islam, but urges countries "to take resolute action to prohibit the dissemination of racist and xenophobic ideas and material aimed at any religion or its followers that constitute incitement and religious hatred, hostility, or violence." (source)
