Beware Men: Your Services Aren't Needed

Most men didn't look at the big picture when they supported Roe V. Wade... It was the first step in excluding them from parental decision making. It's a woman's body if she wants to end her pregnancy (even if the man objects), but it's the man's financial responsibility if she wants to keep the kid...

...But now it goes a step further. New government proposals in the UK would eliminate the need for a father --and in order to pass these laws they must establish that children don't really need a 'father figure'... Now maybe all the men that sat back declaring this a 'woman's issue' may rethink that...

"...The need for a child to have a father should be removed from the law governing fertility treatment, a government White Paper said today.

Clinics must still consider the welfare of any child born as a result of IVF or other fertility treatment but whether a father figure is present will no longer be necessary, under government proposals.

The move would make it easier for single women and lesbian couples to have children using donor sperm.

The Review of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act said: "On balance the Government has decided to propose that the reference to need for a father (in consideration of the welfare of the child) should be removed from the Act." (source, source2)

Once cloning is up and running, you will be an outlived commodity... Be afraid, be very afraid...

Oh, and it seems in the interim you should stop putting your laptops on your laps.
