Appeasement + Pandering = Democratic Party

Rumors that started last week are still raging on... The unconfirmed word is a group of "important Democrats" (unsanctioned by the US Government) met with Hamas leaders.

A spokeswoman for the DNC says "she knows of no such meeting" (a Clintonian evasion?), but sources remain steady in their claims that the unnamed Dems not only met with the terror-linked group Hamas, but went as far as to say they "understand" Hamas' stand of not recognizing Israel and "applauded Hamas' willingness to accept a long-term cease-fire with the Jewish state in exchange for an Israeli withdrawal to what is known as the pre-1967 borders – meaning an evacuation of the Gaza Strip, West Bank and eastern sections of Jerusalem." (source)

Not that anyone should be surprised...given calls to "engage in a dialogue" with Iran and Syria, not to mention Teddy Kennedy's clandestine meetings with the KGB while Reagan was waging the Cold War...

"Open war is upon you whether you would risk it or not." (Tolkien, The Two Towers)
