The new Nissan Versa is being advertised as a car that will alleviate "auto-claustrophobia"... but is that really a huge problem for drivers? I am thinking this is a polite way of saying that the ever-growing population of "morbidly-obese" Americans (3.1% of all men, 6.3% of women) will fit comfortably into this car.
I can't help but think that Japanese car makers are looking to cash in on increasingly overweight Americans --am I way off base here?
