WWIII?



I have been a very bad political blogger this week... I haven't watched any news or listened to any talk radio and only looked over headlines each morning. I'm rather enjoying my head in the sand...but I guess I can't keep it here much longer.

All that I know about the mess in the Middle East is:

Apparently 200,000 Israelis are in bomb shelters
Israel is being attacked on two sides -from Lebanon and Palestine
France and Russia are condemning Israel
The U.S. vetoed the U.N. condemnation of Israel
Iran is now throwing threats into the mix on behalf of Syria

For those of you following this closely... is this the beginning of World War III? What is the big picture here? Are there nuclear ramifications?
