A: Why are you asking?
J: It's just a word that I never knew what it meant.
A: It's when people that are married decide they don't want to be married any longer and they decide not to live in the same house anymore.
J: (long pause) Can that ever happen to us? (getting upset) Will you ever do that?
A: No, what made you ask?
J: Dad gets SO mad sometimes.

J: Yeah, you're right. Can he divorce me?
A: No.
