Will SCOTUS Outlaw Partial Birth Abortion For Good?

The partial Birth Abortion Ban seems destined to end up in front of the Supreme Court. It has been ruled unconstitutional by three federal appellate courts to stop someone from inserting scissors into her baby's neck and suctioning out its brain...

"In the 2nd Circuit ruling, however, there was a strong dissent by Judge Chester J. Straub, who asserted Congress' determination that the procedure is never medically necessary to protect a women's health is well founded.

"Allowing a physician to destroy a child as long as one toe remains within the mother would place society on the path towards condoning infanticide," he said.

"I find the current expansion of the right to terminate a pregnancy to cover a child in the process of being born morally, ethically and legally unacceptable," Straub contended." (source)

Regardless of your feelings on 1st trimester abortions --this practice of partial birth abortion (*GRAPHIC*) must stop and there really shouldn’t be any resistance to that. While this is legal in our country we have NO RIGHT to judge Africans for female circumcisions, or Indians for Bride burning. We have groups getting arrested to protect trees, lobsters and baby calves while doctors are holding a child in their hands while they brutally kill it. I believe this procedure is never warranted for the health of the mother --and the proof of that is neither NARAL nor Planned Parenthood has been able to produce ONE CASE as an example.

Thank God Bush won in '04 and appointed Alito and Roberts... Good riddance Sandra Day and Partial Birth Abortion!
