Sheehan's NY Anti-War Concert

I'm tempted to get tickets for this --for the posts, the pictures and boundless adrenaline... Can we get a bunch of able-bodied veterans assembled --change the Milblogging Conference from DC to the Hammerstein ballroom in New York? Wouldn't it be fun!?

Cindy Sheehan is putting together an anti-war concert dubbed "Bring 'Em Home Now!". Co-organizer is Moby's twin, Michael Stipe of REM. Performers will include: Rufus Wainwright and Bright Eyes, Chuck D, Fischerspooner, Peaches, Steve Earle and Devendra Banhart. Not a very impressive list...

"Organizers said the concert will be followed by a national "Bring 'Em Home Now!" speaking tour that will feature Sheehan and various authors traveling to 15 U.S. cities in April. More concert performers were expected to be added later." (source)

Who's in? ;)
