Real News the MSM Isn't Covering Because of A Hunting Accident

You'd never know it from the 24/7 news coverage of Vice President Cheney's hunting accident (like the man doesn't feel bad enough shooting his friend), and the audacity of Hillary (Vince Foster was not available for comment) and Teddy Kennedy (Mary Jo Kopechne was not available for comment) making jokes about it (--at least let the dude get out of the hospital first...), BUT there are actually some pretty newsworthy things taking place in the world.

I guess it's now up to the right'osphere to fill people in on what the MSM chooses to ignore.

First and foremost, Blackfive has beaten the NYT to the punch and posted the next round of pictures from Abu Gharib. Go take a look. Do you think these will be spattered above the fold in the dead trees?

Second, and winning for most under-reported item due to nonsense, is the article in The Washington Times yesterday about satellite photos showing that China has been building up their nukes.
"A Pentagon official said the photograph of the tunnel entrance reveals for the first time a key element of China's hidden military buildup. Similar but more detailed intelligence photos of the entrance are highly classified within the U.S. government, the official said.
"The Chinese have a whole network of secret facilities that the U.S. government understands but cannot make public," said the official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. "This is the first public revelation of China's secret buildup." (source)
The U.S. has asked China to submit these sites to inspection --it hasn't been released whether the request was denied or China denied their existence.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice asks Congress to give 75 million for TV and radio broadcasts and fund dissident groups in Iran.

So we have the Iranian President making semi-veiled threats against the "Great Satan", Bin Laden and Al Zawahri calling for attacks, Kim Jong-il still breathing, and now China stockpiling...but let's keep talking about a hunting accident that was identical to 34 others that happened last year and never made their local papers!
