Racist Statements are A-OK...

...if you are a Democrat and you are talking about a Republican...apparently.

Colin Powell has been called a "Uncle Tom", Condoleezza Rice a "House Nigger" and Black groups have said that Justice Clarence Thomas should have an asterisk next to African American. How odd...so, the logic is that because these people (brilliant all) have decided that they share conservative ideals and have decided to break free from the dependant voter base --they are no longer black?!

Well, it's happening again...

"Black Democratic leaders in Maryland say that racially tinged attacks against Lt. Gov. Michael S. Steele in his bid for the U.S. Senate are fair because he is a conservative Republican.
Such attacks against the first black man to win a statewide election in Maryland include pelting him with Oreo cookies during a campaign appearance, calling him an "Uncle Tom" and depicting him as a black-faced minstrel on a liberal Web log." (source)

On Meet the Press this weekend, Russert asked Howard Dean about this and asked him if he would call for an end to ads against Steele that used racist rhetoric...Dean refused.

This is repugnant. Can you even envision the s*** storm if a Republican ever used these words? But that's the thing --Republicans don't use these words. Look at the LEADERSHIP of the two parties and see which one is more diverse. It's the GOP and that's why the Dems need to belittle these very public figures and attempt to take away their "blackness"...because they are afraid that their 90% of Black voters might take a look around and wonder why all the strongest, smartest African Americans are "crossing over" and why the face of their own party looks a helluva lot whiter than the opposition!

Are you Democrats OK with this? Trent Lott told a virtual corpse that the world would have been better had he been President to make him feel good and the left-o-sphere was in a whirlwind...but nothing about this?
