The General Leaves CNN...

...for FOX NEWS CHANNEL. As soon as I saw him on Hannity & Colmes, and heard that he was now a 'Fox analyst', I rushed right to the computer to see what they were saying on DU (The Democratic Underground) and other liberal sites. Wesley was their man pre-election. He was walking, breathing proof that you could be a liberal and a military man. That you could be against the war and be patriotic. He was their go to guy. He was the NATO Supreme Allied Commander and they didn't let anyone forget it. I was dying to see how deep their loyalty to the General went. Would they still loved him if he crossed over to the dark Side of Roger Ailes?
...The answer is a resounding NO. Not only did they drop him -they turned on him like a pack of rabid dogs. Accusing him of "never being a Democrat after all". Of "being a Bush Administration plant to throw off the primaries". "A traitor". A "military puppet".
...And why all this hostility? Because he wanted to go to a news channel that actually has viewers? That actually gets ratings? That actually makes money? They turned on Dean. They turned on Kerry. And now they have thrown Wesley overboard. Loyalty does not run deep in the DNC.
