Too-Easy Chocolate Brittle
What You Need:
40 Saltines (Salted)
1 Cup of Brown Sugar
1 Cup Butter (NOT margarine)
22-24 oz. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
What You Do:
Place a sheet of aluminum foil on a cookie sheet making "walls" on the sides. Place 40 Saltine crackers side to side -filling the tray.
Bring the Brown Sugar and Butter to a boil on the stove (stirring constantly). Pour mixture evenly over the crackers.
Heat oven to 350 degrees and place cookie tray into oven for approximately 5 minutes.
Remove tray and smooth chocolate evenly over mixture until completely melted. (If desired sprinkle walnuts on top while chocolate is still hot).
Cool in refrigerator for about 2 hours. Break into individual portions and enjoy!
