A Break and a Cause...

We were offline yesterday and after reading all the comments this morning I realize that there should be a mental health break today. The comments under the post only solidified the fact that this 'right to life/right to death' issue was NONpartisan. People divided within families even when they are the same party...and usually of the same mind. Husband and wife, sisters, twins...all on opposite sides and sure they are (morally) right. Eventually we will have to take the conversation further and discuss euthanasia (as it seems many people were not upset that Terri's body was allowed to die, but at the method of death). But that is all for another day when passions have calmed and there can be discussion without ire and rhetoric.

Today we will do a quiz and do something that ALL OF US can agree on....support efforts for breast cancer research.

Your Brain is 60.00% Female, 40.00% Male
"Your brain is a healthy mix of male and female
You are both sensitive and savvy
Rational and reasonable, you tend to keep level headed
But you also tend to wear your heart on your sleeve"

What Gender Is Your Brain?

Kat directed me to Greg at California Hammonds. His wife passed away from breast cancer and now he is raising money for the cause. He has sponsors that have pledged money per comment posted...so please, go leave a comment (the site has raised $2,871 for the national Breast Cancer Foundation). Make sure to browse the site -the posts about his wife are heartbreaking and beautiful. Kat has also posted about this as she relates the story of her stepmother's victory over breast cancer.
Those of you that read the Rowhouse know of JustRose's Mother's battle with breast cancer and some of you know about my brush with this disease. In a realm where all of us love to 'talk' --earning money for comments should be an easy task. Sean at Doc in the Box keeps up a link to California Hammonds at all times.

Go do what you all do best...write!
